As promised to Guardsmen in a previous thread - here are a few photos of my ex-VCR bunker... The main shell is part of the casing from an old VCR - cut into a more interesting shape but used for the interesting exterior detail. Walls were made up where needed with foam board and some old bulkheads from Necromunda. Main fan comes from a PC, and the dome in the ceiling is from the packaging of one of my (many) rubber ducks... The Aquila is cut from card. The chimneys are made from the plastic roll dog poo bags are wrapped around. To give an idea of the size, the base is around 12"x15", and is textured with cat litter...

Thanks!
It is quite heavy for terrain - but mainly because it is mounted on a cut off of laminate flooring from when I did the kitchen. 5mm thick high density board...

Laminate flooring! I love that stuff. It's basically super-dense cardboard. My laminate floor in here is more expensive than a lot of hardwood, but I did splurge on the top quality stuff...

Great use of a recycled computer fan.

Very nice! The interior could use a bit more snazz in my opinion though. Maybe a few barrels or a table?

Yeah, I know what you mean about the interior - I considered putting some stuff in there, my main thoughts being a kind of holographic table used by war planners. I came to the conclusion though that this is primarily used as gaming terrain, and in my experience those things get in the way...

Nice!
I am going to have to try that...
I would have never thought of using that...BTW thanks for opening my eyes to the idea of electrical bits i have no idea why i didn't think of that
a couple crates of ammunition, or a medical station kinda thing, or even a dead guardsmen would snaze it up a little.

I think I may see what I can do with the interior - some great suggestions, thanks!
@ generalslade - the texture is from a can - some cheap texture spray from a homeware store, designed for furniture I think... Made a bit of a mess when I used it - much to my wife's despair!
