Hello again! I've started a new work at monday, so maybe I'll have more time and money for hobby! But this is probably not what you all want to know, so here we go: another update. It's not too much this time, but I want to share it with you and I'm really curious of yours opinions. Those pics are a little dark, as light is not good today, maybe after weekend I'll have more luck with it. Anyway, here they are: first buildings for my terrain project (no name yet ;p): All of them are separate parts, so I can make a lot of configuration with them. Additionally they have removable roofs for transport or gaming purposes: And the last pic with five guys from Veteran Support Squad 1. They are about 50% done, so I hope to finished them until the end of week (picture is dark, so you can't really say they're painted, but they are!): I'm waiting for your replies. Cheers, BCI Batou.

Two years not posting in my own thread (is this still necromancy?)! Time to change that! hendrik: don't know the exact name in English, but it's called "styrodur" in Polish (some kind of high density styrofoam I think, it's used in architecture). Really great material for this kind of stuff. Anyway, I wanted to take part in last GG and I thought I'll paint a chimera. But I never liked the design of the IG vehicles and temptation to convert it was too strong... I couldn' resist, so I cut it into pieces and started the proces... I bought it already glued and primed, but it's not problem for me. Anyway, here we go: And the side panels cutted: Everyone knows how chimera looks, hope you will like mine version of it. More pics with little progres tomorrow. For now I'm waiting for C&C. ;p Cheers, Batou

Yo! Long time no posting here, but that doesn't mean I didn't do nothing! Here are photos of one of few things that have keep my modeling life busy: Sorry for bad lighting. I didn't have much time to take this photos. I've already sent them to my friend, he will make a better use of them. So 'till the next update.

Welcome back, I love those buildings. Do you happen to have patterns for making them?

Agreed those buildings are very nice, simple but effective. They are a nice break from the overly ruined tech building that I always play on.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like them. I don't have any template for them. My goal was to make few simple buildings on the same base/ dimensions and I think I did it.

Apologies if you've answered this already: How did you do the bipod?

Apologies if you've answered this already: How did you do the bipod? Don't know if I answered this before. Anyway, bipods are really simple: just two strips of thin plasticard with two plastic rods shaved a little for better joint.

ddi you ever finish the chimera? It's still on my "to do" list. I would like to finish it ASAP, but for now I'm working on some Eldars for my friend (pictures soon) and some other non gaming projects. Anyway, thanks for interest and comment. Cheers!
