So, because I am somewhat crazy, and a little weak willed with too much money on my hands, I picked up some Space Wolves. Now, it's looking like they'll become army number 3!
With that in mind, I slapped this list together, trying to keep it somewhat fluffy as well as interesting and flexible.
HQ:
Wolf Lord- 208pts. Frost Blade, Storm Bolter, Runic Armor, Belt of Russ, Saga of the Bear
Elite:
Wolf Scouts Pack-95pts. (5 Scouts) 2 Scouts w/ Bolt Pistol. CCW 2 Scouts w/ Bolt Pistol. CCW, Meltabombs Scout w/ Meltagun
Wolf Guard Pack-184pts. Wolf Guard w/ 2x Wolf Claws (leads Blood Claws) 2x Wolf Guard w/ Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield (each leads a Grey Hunter Pack)
Troops:
14 Blood Claws-210pts.
Grey Hunter Pack-195pts. (9 Grey Hunters) Power Fist Rhino
Grey Hunter Pack-195pts. (9 Grey Hunters) Power Fist Rhino
Heavy Support:
Land Raider Crusader-260pts. Multi-Melta
Total: 11347
C&C welcome, I'm curious what you all think about this list.

Looks fairly interesting. You don't have much AT, though. Also, the codex doesn't really indicate (or at least I couldn't find anything) if the scouts can or can't use behind enemy lines with an attached wolf guard. I'd say they can, but there's going to be an upset opponent that will say nay.
Also, if you're burdened with too much money, send some to me.

Well, it does specify they can't be lead by a model with a jump pack. I just thought it would be good fun to have a Shrike clone flying around yelling really loud as he hacked things apart. As for the lack of AT, most of my normal opponents have this strange idea that all infantry is the only way to win. So, by giving them targets they can't kill, I might actually make it to their lines. Also, if you're burdened with too much money, send some to me. Sadly, I'm burdened no longer.

Yes... I know someone else who wants to do an infantry-only army... I think I'll let him do that. Then tear it apart.

I've also been thinking of trying this without Rhino's, but I can't think of what to add to it. Seeing as it's not too many points.

Why? Rhinos are a cheap way of getting into cc faster. Against an infantry army, that's always going to give you an advantage.

Just a curiosity thing really. Sometimes it's fun to try new things.

It's not so bad if you meet another assaulty army on foot and you're playing on a small table.
At 1500 points it probably isn't a good idea though...
Oh yeah...and I just double checked and sadly saga of the hunter cannot be taken combined with a jump pack.

Oh yeah...and I just double checked and sadly saga of the hunter cannot be taken combined with a jump pack. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! This makes me quite sad...I knew it was too good to be true. Alright, I guess it's time to take a look through the codex to see what catches my interest as a replacement. Recommendations are also welcome.

Huh...Frost Blades and Axes are now much cheaper...interesting...
Edit: But only when wearing Terminator armor.

wolf lords and wolf guard battle leaders in terminator armor couldn't even take frost weapons before the faq...
which confused me a great deal before I saw this.
