You've assembled, painted or both?

Assembled, still needs to be painted for the most part.
I'm still a bit iffy on how I'm gonna paint them...
I also got my Devastators and decided to give them all Missile Launchers, also gonna get a WG in terminator armor to have a cyclone missile launcher to hang out with them.
7 Kraks....dear god

Missile launchers will give you more options at least. Those 7 kraks are also with higher BS..
Painting.. hmm.. I think most Wolf players have this problem. The old wolfie colour was dark grey, but the current colour is blue-grey, highlighted with Space Wof grey.
There is a foundation colour called Fenris Grey, but for those who don't like the thicker foundations you basically have to make a 50/50 mix of Shadow Grey and Space Wolf Grey. (It'll help to have several pots of both and just mix them all up so you don't have to bother mixing them). Then just highlight up to pure SW grey. It depends on how much highlighting you want to do. A pro-painted SW army can take ages to paint, but they look really good - esp. the red-haired ones..

My painting plan in summary is to:
1) Prime/basecoat chaos black 2) Slightly water down some Adeptus Battlegrey and do a heavy drybrush 3) Wash with Badab Black 4) Small drybrush fortress grey over the model
Boltgun & Badab Black wash on metal parts Dwarf bronze & Sepia wash for gold Bleached Bone & Devlan wash for skulls, teeth and parchment
Should most assuredly be darker (old style) not the new blue which I find to be too close to other lesser chapters colors.

Maybe downgrade a meltagun to a flamer.

Sounds like a good plan.
I've actually got a little painting done and I'm very pleased with it. I'll be sure to get some pics up in the picture post section in the next few days.
