Wonder whether it will be a sentinel replacement or a completely different type of vehicle

I think it will probably be a new type of vehicle for the elysians - being as they already have "drop sentinels". Not reall sure what else it could count as in the Guard Codex either... so yeah, probably a new one.
I actually really like it too - may have to get one - even if it does look like the offroad buggy thing in Star Wars Nemeis (right at the start of the film).

Star Trek. You have just committed science fiction heresy.

Or the other way around. Or simply sullied yourself. It does kinda remind me of the Argo, though.

Looks more like something from Halo than something from 40K to me...
Still nice though...

thats one of the... beauties of 40k though - you can steal things from so many other sources, adapt it to have a hint of 40kishness, and liberally sprinkle with grim gothic goodness

well ofcourse - "aquire" it, then claim it was yours... just because it existed before you thought of it doesn't mean it's not yours

I think I soiled myself. Anybody else? No, I didn't. It looks more realistic than a lot of the things you see in 40k.

That seems to be the trend with forgeworld models compared to GW models - forgeworld seem to be more... dare I say, contemporary styled vehicles etc, whereas GW are happy to and strive for what seem to be more fantastical styling. Maybe it's just me...

It is nifty, but I have to say it looks a little large for its "light fast vehicle" design and style. That's not to say that I wouldn't love to have one though.

I think it's a pretty sweet model, but I still want to see the rules for it before I buy, given how expensive it would be for me to get my hands on it. Reds

That is a pretty sweet model. Sadly it will likely cost most of my limbs to procure it...
And are those TL'd Multilasers I spy?

Excellent.
That looks like it'll be good fun to run around with. Or maybe just to paint up and display.
If it didn't cost multiple limbs...

You know, even as a sentinel stand in, it might work well for a mechanised list - using this instead of sentinels (but with the sentinel rules) would result in a rather nice looking army. It'd be really nice to have one or two just for display, but I'm hopeful the rules will be groovy too... not really seen any "poor" forgeworld rules that I can think of, so I'm staying positive!

A sentinel stand in kinda works, but I see it more of a move 12" lascannon kinda vehicle. Looks good though.

Considering the current exchange rate one would cost 55$ US
for that cost you could almost buy 2 land speeders and convert them with wheels.
but it is a petty model though.
