Hey ive been wanting to make a Mechanized Infantry regiment, but i have been wondering if there is any transport other then the chimera. I know of the Gorgon and the Centuar, but i was looking for a transport vehicle that would be cost effective in points and wouldn't have to be so heavily armed as i would be using it to transport Mortar squads and other units of that type. if anyone knows of any tricks or hints regarding a way to save points on transport vehicles, please let me know.

There is the Chimera, the Gorgon and Centure, plus the Salamander can be used as Transport.
There are also the Vulture or Valkriye Transport Ships.

I didn't know that the Salamander could be used as a transport, ill have to look up the rules for that, the vulture and valkriye transport ships where can i find some rules about them, i use to play necrons like 5 years ago, then i quiet playing this game now i am bak into it i made a light infantry regiment representing the Regiment i am in now so i am not sure of the where to find all these rules.

Leman Russ Main Battle Tank, Leman Russ Demolisher, Chimera, Hell Hound, Sentinal and Basalisk are in the Codex, everything else isnt, you need Imperial Armour books or PDF Format Files.
