Alright guys, I'm looking for your thoughts on this.
I want to have an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor in my army, to go with Malleus and Hereticus, but I'm not sure which rules set would work better to represent him.
Daemon Hunters- Better choice of weapons and amour, but almost all of the wargear has to do with countering Daemons.
Witch Hunters- Better all purpose wargear and psychic powers, but their weapons are very much oritented toward taking on Psykers.
I'm leaning toward Witch Hunters, but what do you guys think?

I'd say witchhunters as you could fluff them to have been extensively in pursuit of eldar in his time as an inquisitor hence why he has anti-psyker gear.

It's not like the anti-psyker stuff is mandatory, or even useful.
What basic weapons and armour did you plan for him?

@rt: Can't, since that would mean I couldn't use it in a game at my store. Makarova (M.I.A): All he has right now is Power Armour, a sword of some sort, a pistol of some sort, and a Falcon perched on his arm, so I could make him use just about any weapons I wanted, but I want to give him fluffy wargear as well. @laughing Man: That's a good point, and, considering the Task Force secretly works with the Eldar from time to time, would actually be a good addition to the fluff... I vote DH, because they have power fists. Unfortunately you can't do a Calgar and show up with two fists, like you can in other, more recent dexes.

I managed to create a rather fluffy Ordo Xenos Inquisitor from the DH list - gave her access to a needle pistol (which seemed appropriate as it would be effective against any Xeno threat). Other than that, add in three heavy bolter equipped warriors - they take out pretty much all Xeno equally well.

The needle pistol is tempting, and the guy doesn't have a specific pistol yet. What other wargear did you give her?

You mean dual PFs with an integrated AP2 t-l bolter? No just the 2 fist thing. Obviously Calgar has the inbuilt guns anyway, but in cc he was one of the first to use 2 fists. |

But he also has a power sword (WHY!!!).
Oops! forgot to say my opinion. Anyways the Witch hunters are the way to go. Not sure why.
