So I've been playing Eldar for quite some time but I've never played an actual tourny. I want to actually win cuz the prize is "build your own army" at a local gaming store. My guess is like $500 in models so it's very apealing. Watching other play at the store I shop at, a lot of people are so/so playing. I'm mostly worried about my friend as his DE army.
Anyway, I've got tons of eldar and the money to fill any holes. I'm looking for opinions on what to put in it, or entire lists themselves. Not sure on point limit, but 1500 is common at this store.
I have a few ideas of my own:
1. Spirit warriors:
This would be 2 support farseers, 3 10man wraithguard, and a wraith lord. I've played this with friends and I can typically walk over their (C)SMs, Orks, and DE, with a few losses.
2. I've been thinking of finishing a full Saim-Hann army. Is this still tourny awesomeness?
Any other ideas would be great.
