Hey again everyone! Time for a new IGMB modelling project! I did something similar to this in the past, but got a little overwhelmed, so I’ve made a few changes this time. Basically, if you would like a model made for a particular character of your own creation, please let me know. I’m creating a new gang exclusively for any ideas put forward for this, but you may also fill out roles of other supporting characters in a campaign I’m hoping to run pretty soon ;D I’ve been playing a lot of Necromunda lately, and I really like the creativity it allows you for modelling and converting. I’ve been working a lot on my sculpting and painting, but I found that the previous “Roll Call” project I did was a great way to stretch my abilities. The gang I’m working on is almost done, but the beauty of Necro is that you’re never really finished – gangers die, creds burn holes in pockets, bounty hunters appear, and special characters are needed! If you’d like someone made, feel free to give me a name, weapon set ups, personal appearances, scars, tattoos, particular trinkets carried, dress styles and anything else you feel may be relevant; but this is a narrative game, so I’m going to be picking people out based on interesting back stories. A basic physical description (unless it’s for someone really interesting!) will probably not get made. A very normal looking character with a mysterious past of shaky ethics, questionable motivations and a crippling fear of the number 7 might. How did they end up in the underhive? What are they hoping to achieve? Are they guns for hire, or will they only work towards a particular goal? Is there anyone they would never work beside? Be creative! I'd also appreciate an indication of who they'd be likely to fight with: - The jackals, my scavenger warband- The employ of a mysterious inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus- A (cybernetically enhanced) scavvy uprising, fighting for their own place in the Underhive, away from the dangers of the depths- A group of escaped convicts, looking to carve out their own niche from a world that punished themI am willing to buy parts (within reason!) and do extensive sculpting for this project, so let your imaginations run wild! I was going to open this up on other forums, but I owe a lot to a lot of you guys for helping me to my feet when I started, so this will be IGMB-exclusive. For an idea of what I can do at the moment, here are a few recent gangers: I will not be making all models suggested – apologies for that, but last time I got far more suggestions than I was expecting, and just didn’t have the time. The more interesting the character, the more likely I am to notice. I’ll do my best to get through as many as I can though. I’ll post details of the project log once I get to work. I’m really looking forward to this, and I hope you’ll have a good time doing it. Now, FIRE AWAY, IGMB ;D

Not so much a request, just wanted to saw how awesome these are, and that I'm glad to see you managed to find that Ghost model you were after. For your efforts, I present you with this... Keep up the good work! Reds

I'l like my Ganger to be a Reaver Titan with a Mohawk. Then I'd like you to remove the mohawk and send the titan to me. Don't worry, I'll cover the shipping.
Seriously, great idea! When you are done you will have some great models for Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader!

Well, since no one seems to be up to submitting serious ideas, I guess I'll start:
Golan Davis, sometimes known as "the walking arsenal," is known throughout the Underhive as a man who, instead of reloading, simply draws another weapon during combat. As a result, he tends to wear a sleeveless long coat and Munitorum-surplus combat webbing over cargo pants and a tank top for practicality purposes. His brown hair is cut in a distinctive flat top and he has numerous scars and old burns on his face and his ripped, muscular body. He's usually found with a cigar in his mouth, and while he has a tendency to get cocky and a little trigger-happy, he's smart enough to know when to fall back.
He boasts an impressive pair of knives, a pair of laspistols (a matched set, no less), a bolter and a shotgun for harder targets (the shotgun has been cut down and is worn strapped to his leg like a pistol), numerous frag grenades and his trusty heavy stubber, which he lovingly calls "Annie" (Assuming he's using the House Goliath weapons list, he comes to 300 credits and takes up one of your Heavies).
According to rumor, he sends roughly half of his money to his younger sister, who has a very rare illness where her body sometimes starts rejecting its own organs. The rest usually goes to maintaining his weapons, cigars, liquor and prostitutes, but some of his fellow gangers have noticed that he's recently been spending a lot of time and money working on a new project that he's been uncharacteristically quiet about, but judging by the kind of parts he's been buying or salvaging some believe that it may be a new, very special gun...
This the kind of thing you're looking for, Scarper?

@reds - Wow, thanks so much! And well remembered too I ended up picking her up off a badly listed eBay auction for a steal. NobleSeven - Of course! If you could just mail me your £500 'handling fee' (PayPal or any major credit card would be fine), I'll get right on that Glad you like the idea though - you should put something forward! @julian Sharps - That's exactly what I was hoping for! Clear physical description, a few character traits and some interesting backstory. Fantastic ;D I've actually got a few ideas for how I might be able to put him together (that's a lot of guns!), but it'll still be a few days before I get started on any of this. Thanks for putting him forward! @san - Ace, I'm looking forward to it. Hope you got your gang questions sorted in your other thread, too.

Awesome! Can't wait to see your write ups ;D syphon - As I mentioned in the first post, the old Remnant project I was doing got a little too big for me to handle. This time I'm not trying to fulfil every single choice, and I don't have to stick so close to a rigid theme and structure, so people submitting can be a lot more creative! You're welcome to suggest someone in this project too - sorry if I didn't get around to you before the old one fizzled out...

Okay, as promised, my entry.
Ganger: Friedrich Backstory: Friedrich never knew his father. He left before Friedrich was born, on some sort of business for the government. An impersonal note was all that the government sent to them, informing them of the father’s ‘unfortunate’ demise. Friedrich’s anger boiled over, and drove him from his home. Down. Down he went into the depths of the underhive, never to return. Personal Appearance: The constant skirmishes have left Friedrich changed forever. He wears a black cloak with a hood, which covers his scars. He bears an old shotgun, and a scoped hellpistol which he recovered from a dead government official. He wears little armor, preferring instead to have speed. His black hair is cut short, and his beard is stubbly. His skin, once tanned, is paled with never seeing the sun. It is said his normally green eyes shine white in the darkness of the underhive. Habits & Personal life: Friedrich has been an alcoholic since he began earning money, as the pull of strong drink has been too much. He never cleans his teeth, and they have blackened with age. He refuses to associate with his previous life, nor anyone with any links to the Imperium. He carries a small brown book, in which are all the names of those of the imperium who he has killed or wants to kill. The cover bears the word ‘Revenge’. There ya go, hope you liked it!

I tried to post, but I got a message saying the page took too long. I then sent a pm. Came back here, turned out it had posted already *facepalm* anyway I deleted the post and put this here isntead EDIT: Put it here for others to see anyway Gang-name: “Ponce” Full name: In his journal there are entries from his family referring to him as “Johnny”
Carries a slim journal sealed in a pouch, wears a black re-breather and carries a modified flamer and fuel tank, as well as several smaller gas canisters in place of grenades.
Backstory: Lived from a wealthy family, but at the age of seventeen a crime lord by the name of Jeffer Smith mistook his family for that of a man who had stolen from him, so one day when coming home from the Academy Imperialus his hab-block was blown up by a stolen krak grenade placed in the gas mains. Having had family ties with the law enforcement, he found who stole the grenade and supplied to Smith’s gang. A body resembling the man was found in a waste chute five days later, rib-cage blown open from a shotgun to the back. Two weeks later the run-down ware-house used by Smith’s gang was flooded with out-dated toxins that are used in the manufacturing of bane-wolf gas. PDF looked for John for three weeks, having been charged with murder of up to ten people, the theft of expired munitions, a re-breather unit, and a Mk IV Flamer. There were also reports of theft of chlorine and napalm. There is also the belief that not all of the stolen bane-wolf chemicals were used in the ware-house, that “Johnny” still has more than half of what he stole remaining. The name “Ponce” is meant to be a reference to the fact he is a ‘rich-kid’, and also he never uses grenades of any sort and has been known on rare occasions to have psychotic episodes if he sees any form of explosion, including enemy vehicles.

Name: Mr. Jones
Jones has traveled from world to world all his life, keeping to the criminal underworld in every hive city he came upon. His father was killed in the Imperial Guard when he was a boy and since then he has been looking for the deserter commander who caused his fathers death, hoping to bring him to a prolonged and bloody end.
A great bear of a man, Jones stands at nearly 7ft tall, broad and strong. His mid length, dirty blonde hair is unkempt and his short beard is thick and course with hints of red and blonde. His usual attire consists of old catachan issue trousers, a simple shirt and a vest of body armour he made himself from sheets of metal and bits of flak vest. In his years working for the highest bidder Jones has collected many weapons ranging from the simple autopistol to a prototype sniper rifle "acquired" from a mechanicus facility. Yet it is in close combat that Mr. Jones truly excels, his large frame and immense strength makes him a force of nature at close quarters. His large collection of knives and blades is awe inspiring but he prefers his fathers chainsword (minus imperial insignia) and a hot shot pistol he took from an unfortunate Arbites patrol who tried to arrest him.
Over the many years he has been searching for the deserter CO, a man called Forscible, Mr. Jones has hacked, punched, bit, shot and beaten his way through every type of scum imaginable, and has the scars to show for it. His most prominent features are the long scar going down his left cheek, extending down his neck and out of view on his torso and a tattoo on his forehead that reads; 133/88923 - his fathers serial number. After two decades of searching and a trail of bloodied and beaten informants, dealers, gangers, arsonists, murderers and other assorted scum, Jones is certain that Forscible is somewhere in Necromunda, and he will kill everyone who stands between them, until vengeance is delivered....

Name: Cornelius "Nightmare" Schrueder Physical Description: Tall and Well Muscled (Orlock). Large scar running from left eye diagonally across his face. Short, purple hair. Purple eyes. Wears Combat pants (urban cam) and black boots. White singlet with 212th Penal Legion on the back. Tatoo on right upper arm "212-666", Tatoo on left upper arm of a skull. One knife strapped to each calf, Autopistol on right thigh. Equipment: Autogun, Laspistol, Knife, Knife, frag grenades
Background: Schrueder was born into a typical mining family of the Orlock house. His parents had big dreams for Cornelius and gave him his grand sounding name, in attempts to increase his social standing. However, Cornelius got mixed into a gang of small time thieves as a young adult (around 19 standard), where he was arrested and then released with a slap on the wrist. His father, however, slapped him more than just on the wrist. He was beaten heavily by his father for 'disgracing the family name'. This did not deter Cornelius and he continued his thieving. The second time he was caught, the Arbites fined him and sentenced him to 5 days in the local Arbites Precinct. After his release, his father attempted to beat him again. Schrueder grabbed his fathers wrist, and twisted it around behind his back. He then broke his fathers arm. His mother ran and hit him in the back of the head with a frying pan, in her histerics. Some say this is why Schrueder did what he did. Some say he the blow caused him to become unhinged. Either way, when he awoke in his room, Cornelius broke the door down, and killed both his mother and father. He was caught fleeing the scene of the crime by a squad of Arbites and sentenced to join the Imperial Guard as a Penal Legionnaire. However, Schrueder managed to escape shortly after the equipment issue and fled into the Underhive.
He has spent around ten years living as a Ganger in the Underhive, always as a member of an Orlock gang. He was given his nickname during his first stint as a young Juve. The night after Schrueder made his first kill, he suffered from a severe nightmare which none of his gang mates could awake him from. When he awoke he told them that he envisioned the scene of his parents murder, through their eyes, and watched himself kill his family over and over again.
Should be good for a normal Ganger. He doesn't have to be an Orlock. That's just how I envisioned him.

Oooh, lots of posts to reply to! syphon - Fantastic, looking forward to reading it. unluckyguardsman - I like him! Little touches like the alcoholism and the poor hygeine work really well and make him seem even more detached from other humans. Did you have anything in mind for what his father did? I wasn't sure if he was just another worker thoughtlessly killed in industry, or if you had something more sinister in mind. Or is that part of his mystery? I've got a bunch of ideas about how having him in your gang could affect your stance with the arbites - I imagine he wouldn't be too popular with the local guilders either! Thanks so much for your entry ;D @ymoot / ER - Awesome! But you should totally post it here so everyone can enjoy it - feel free to take up as much space as you want. I'm really looking forward to what you might come up with actually, I was a really big fan of your DE fluff... Walrus - Sleep is for the weak. Get churning! Beav - I did get your PM! Sorry for the late reply, had an exam yesterday, so I've been kinda flooded. I'm glad you posted here though, I was going to ask if I could repost it anyway I am a big fan of that fluff, and the little suggestions you had for his psychosis. It could be a real game changer, and I always find little fluffy rules like that can make a game seem much more of a story than GANG A SHOOTS AT GANG B. I think the name works really well, and I don't think he's cheesy at all! Paradill - Sounding good! I like the idea of his home-made flak vest. With the vengeance quest, he could fit really well into a campaign too. Maybe breaking off from the gang who hired him to follow a lead? Or even discovering that an important NPC may know more than he's letting on. Thanks for letting us see him! @san - That name is fantastic. "Nightmare" sounds like the kind of cheesy, macho name that a ganger might give himself, but just a couple of sentences transforms it in a way that really humanises him. Great story too - I like the doubt about his own culpability in what happened. I'm a really really big fan of this one, thanks so much ;D Thanks so much to everyone who has put someone forward so far! One thing I though was worth mentioning is that I'm also considering a Scavvy gang, so anyone put forward could be - Part of my rival gang - An addition to the 21 Jackals - An important character in the campaign I'm planning - A 'gun for hire' type character - An outlaw fitting into any of the above categories - A mutant or similarSo really any kind of background you can think of would be great! Serious thanks to all who've put stuff forward so far, it's a lot to ask for no rewards yet, but hopefully I can start putting a few things together this w/e ;D

Woo! :> I think I forgot to mention that the psychosis can be disatrous for anyone near ponce if he's carrying his flamer, so maybe if he knows there might be explosions he only carries a side-arm or something (so he has a laspistol somewhere)

Ganger: Interrogator Inkwell Physical description: Inkwell is a lithe and trim, young man who typically wears a long black coat. Underneath the coat he wears baggy pants and a very nice-looking black shirt. His face is covered by a bandanna with the inquisitorial symbols on it. His coat has a skull emblazoned on the back and has flames on the trim. His left arm was replaced with a crude but resilient prosthetic replacement.
Equiptment: Chainsword (Shrieking Jessie), Laspistol, shotgun
Background: Inkwell was born an orphan on a planet near Necromunda but he's never actually said the name of it. He enlisted but realized very early in he was unsuited for arbites life. He's stubborn, irrational, and brutal. These characteristics also made him a prized interrogator. Soon he left his home and arbites life to live in the murky depths of Necromunda, where he could practice his vicious talents without anyone interfering. But before he left his unit was thrown into combat fighting gangs. He saw his opportunity and opened fire on his sergeant, blowing his head off with a solid shot from his shotgun and snatching up his sergeant's chainsword, the sergeant's blood seeping into the blade, as he left the scene cackling like a madman. He hacked his way into a ship and took off after forcing the pilot to take off by holding his now out of fuel chainsword to his throat. Three days of travel later he arrived in Necromunda where he promptly ripped out the pilot's throat. Nobody knows why he chose to stay on the ship for three days, but then the boarding ramp opened blood flooded out, and Inkheart stepped out of the ship carrying what was last expected from him. A small girl. Whatever compelled him to keep her unharmed also prevents him from allowing anyone near her.

Walrus - Sleep is for the weak. Get churning! [/quote] That is a song... Anyway, here we go... I'm writing this off the top of my head so it might not be the best.... Roland Berechon is an Ex-guard major from a Tank Regiment he never mentions the name of, only ever saying "The Regiment" when telling a story of his old life (he likes to tell stories...). "Back in the Regiment", as he is so fond of saying, "The Administratum must have hated us, because we always got the dodgy Cog-heads. There was one that really topped it, a fine... err...bloke by the name Magos 1974. He was a real interesting fellow, always messing with the tech. He was the one who modified the Punisher cannons in my Squadron, back when I was a Captain. He had a Strange infatuation with Cloning however, And after I got to Major, he successfully cloned me.. [not a very nice person] cost me my position." Whenever asked about that, his story will always break down into mumbling, usually the only distinguishable word is 'replaced'. Roland Doesn't remember getting into the Underhive, as the last thing he remembers before awaking in the depths is a Space marine with Blue armour and a strange scale pattern decoration incapacitating him and carrying him somewhere loud. The Ex-major's former squadron was an all punisher squadron, and keeping with tradition he has an almost orkish craving for 'Dakka' (as he puts it), and this is reflected in his weapons load-out. Roland will generally carry around at least 6 ranged weapons, as even his knives can be fired (Primitive black powder is stored in the hilts, this is triggered with a special grip on the handle). He is partial to his 2 modified Assault Rifles with bullpup design that seem to large for is Average size arms to fire at the same time, Although this doesn't stop him unleashing veritable torrents of special 'Grox-stopper' rounds (rounds with an expanding promethium filled tip. The round penetrates the target, the tip then expands creating a Catachans fist sized hole, the volatile promethium is then released, cooking the target inside out). His side arms are twin laspistols that have been modified with heat-dispersing barrels, allowing Roland the ability to drain the overcharged clips without the pistols melting. His final companions have been lovingly dubbed 'The Ballistic Twins' his knives that can be launched at extreme distance. Roland's complaxion varies due to a minor gene enhancement, allowing his skin to react to radiation similar to a space marines skin can (although an a lesser scale). this trait has saved his life on many occasions. Roland is never seen without his Desert Camouflage Battle Dress Uniform, and his extensive body rig, which extends from his lower thighs to elbows. It is uncommon for his boots not to be at a parade ground shine, but extensive time in dangerous conditions will prevent the shining. I sincerely hope that is good quality, as I was being pestered the entire time of typing by my parents...

Soon! I want to finish up the guys I have in my gang at the mo before I start making the new ones. Gathering parts and the like takes a little while, so I thought I'd put up the thread a little earlier to gague how interested people were, and give me time to think! Progress will be shown soon, promise. Walrus & Hetlan - Sorry, didn't notice your updates! Hetlan - Sounds really interesting! I was a little confused about why he killed his sergeant though: did he not want the interrogator job? Or is he just a little loose in the head? Definitely a unique character anyway Walrus - Hahaha, why am I not surprised that your one involves cloning? I like the hints at something dark at work - is the blue armour a reference to the alpha legion? I like the sound of his loadout too - pretty unique way to fight, and very underhive-friendly to have 'surprise' spring loaded knives... Your writing is really good, and very characterful. I wouldn't worry bout your parents distracting you ;D Thanks for the entries everyone - will be on this sooner rather than later, I promise. Two gangers (maximum three ) to go, then it's one of these guys.

Simply known as Ready to the people he fights near the extremely tall ex-PDF trooper hasn't got a scar on him, this he jokes is because he's hasn't had the opportunity, only being seventeen and having joined up just a year ago. But in truth Ready is much older and has an aversion to close combat, preferring to use a lasgun, any lasgun, to keep heads below cover before pulling a grenade from the sack he hangs over his back. As any one who has known him for long (and their are few, possibly due to his inaccurate throwing arm) will say, Ready's "bag of tricks" is full to the brim with grenades; krak grenades, frag grenades, smoke grenades, "salvaged" greenskin grenades, even the odd stick of dynamite, anything that can be that will cause a large bang far from his own position. By far the most infamous is his personal "ready to go" special, a frag grenade with a lasgun powerpack or clip of autogun ammo tapped to it.
His steady bombardment of cocked grenades will continue unabated as soon as the enemy come within range but their will still be one more "little bundle of joy" rolling around at the bottom of ready's Hessian sack after even the longest of engagements, the one time anyone can remember Ready running out of grenades was the MMMDXLVI street riot, were Ready simply started picking up rocks and tossing them, and by the time either side had realised the constant banging was only in their abused ears Ready was gone, probably to resupply, most likely from the dead corpses of either side.
All other details of Ready's discription varry from tale to tale, most commonly he has black hair, sometimes long, sometimes short but all agree he changes out of his cloths into whatever chatches his eye, stripping it from the courpse that was wearing it. Ready is only really seen fighting alongside veterans who are not affected by his blatant disregard for dead men's boots, or caps, his quickly changing discription has confounded people of authorite on all sides and it is joked that Ready is ready for anything, including fast changing fashion.
