Ahh no, i'm not making a warhound Cosmic ;D I'm making a Knight-Paladin Icckle baby titan. But yeah, I was thinking about this while on skyrim.... If your setting a diorama on the shelf using the Titan, will it not be used for Gaming???

There will be no Chaos Warhound I'm afraid lads Ahh no, i'm not making a warhound Cosmic ;D I'm making a Knight-Paladin Icckle baby titan. But yeah, I was thinking about this while on skyrim.... If your setting a diorama on the shelf using the Titan, will it not be used for Gaming??? Ah yes now I remember.. Also, the titan won't be stuck down. Although I doubt I'll use it in a game any time soon though either. The Red is achieved by spraying Scab Red over a black undercoat Well the Bastions and Defence Lines arrived today, so here's an update... Bastion Firstly, I'd like to ask Major Downer what sort of glue he used to build these Bastions in the first place? Mainly because after I opened the box, I discovered that I could pull the whole lot apart with ease, the glue was like elastic! /\ /\ /\ Big box of goodies! /\ /\ /\ The previous glue can be seen here, the greeny/yellowy rubbery glue just peeled off....what is that stuff Major?! /\ /\ /\ I realised that the whole thing needed rebuilding (sorry major) otherwise it would just fall apart. /\ /\ /\ So I pulled the whole thing apart and set to work rebuilding it from the ground up \/ \/ \/ /\ /\ /\ And the finished, rebuit base. Since these photos were taken I've rebuilt the whole thing in sections and have started painting so hopefully more updates tomorrow. Cosmic

I've seen that glue before. I've used it when I ran out of super glue and when rummaging in the garage. It's some all-purpose stuff, not sure what it's called, but you can role it into weird brown balls.
I think anyway.

looks like copydex smells of fish and is generally used for fabrics

Yeah I'm starting to think that it's the Bostik 'All Purpose' glue that Hookah mentioned, I seem to remember it being very similar. I need some input if people would be so kind.... I've just dotted around some stuff but I'm not sure if it looks too cluttered, I hate to say it......but I'm wondering if the Titan is too much!

Wow the bastion looks really good! Maybe deepen the places where you put the minis and make their bases so they fit perfectly with the scenery.

I thought that battleship was the Bismark. Too bad it has a -10 weakness to outdated bi-plane torpedo bombers.
I like the diorama you've got going there cosmic, maybe pop a few officers on the top of the bastion, so it looks like there surveying the battlefield.

Just a thought, maybe have the warhound assulting the bastion? As-is, it seems a little odd, a wahound going after a few foot troops. Everything so far looks really great!

I'm now starting to contemplate this....thank you Thanks Karn, although personally I'll find it even more odd having an Imperial Warhound attacking an Imperial Bastion, especially when there are Orks right behind it Also the Warhound isn't big enough to take on other, more powerful battle Titans, so it's usually equipped with anti-infantry/tank weaponry, so having it attack a horde of Orks is more realistic.

Cosmic: Please to be sharing with us the paint recipe and method you used to paint the bastion? I've been flip-flopping back and forth ever since getting mine, when Planetstrike was first released, as to how to paint them, and yours are the nicest looking ones I've seen to date, and I blatantly want to plagiarize your work!

Hi Trooper Ah, well a recipe you shall have..... 1) Basecoat of Codex Grey (straight on the plastic, no undercoat or anything) 2) Badab Black wash just in all the gaps, on the bolts, nooks and crannies etc 3) VERY light Drybrush of Fortress Grey......do this 3 or 4 times to build it up And that's the basic colour all the details are up to you. But for the brown rusted metal I did.... 1) Bestial Brown 2) Badab Black Wash over the bolts 3) Gryphonne Sepia wash over the whole metal area 4) Stipple Chaos Black, followed by Chainmail over the metal. 5) Chainmail Edge scratches Hope that helps Trooper I shall post some pictures of the Bissy up tomorrow Shostak, since you asked nicely EDIT Found a good pic of the Bismarck in my Photobucket account, here you go Shostak... She's still no where near finished, and she's looking a lot different at the moment than she does in this old photo. She came out as a Partwork by Hachette a few years ago, I've got every magazine, I just need to finish her.
