Oh it's really bad Cosmic, I think you should probably send it to me and forget about this thread The red really does pop off of her, I quite like the sword... I'm attracted to it. Major Downer

She's looking positively angelic and ready to squash that dove.

Awesomesauce! Mmmmmmm....sauce......cheers, Trooper Thanks, Wraelis. Sounds a plan! They're so much fun to paint too which is a bonus Hmmmm.....how about for £1million and then you have a deal? And cheers, Major. But what she doesn't know is that the Dove is secretly bomb but thank you my friend, glad you approve! Cheers Empty, we should get her on the table for a game before I send her to Paimon Well despite the chilliness today, I've wrapped a duvet around me and cracked on with some painting, mainly the bases, as I wanted to see how they would look as a coherent unit, and I'm happy! Paimon, you might not have noticed but Celestine has a small tangle of Barbed Wire on her base, just to show that despite her angelic appearance, she's still on a battlefield. I'm planning to add some more to these bases too and then see what you think. Cosmic

Thanks, Chem Yup, flowers indeed. I bought them but didn't know why, I just liked them, but they fit in perfectly with the Sisters so thought I'd make use of them! There'll be some barbed wire on the bases too though, just to show that they are actually in battle!

If these were mine, I'd make you swap a bolt pistol for a bunch of flowers. All heretics have hayfever you know These look great, I'm very impressed with how smooth the armour is, as I know what a pain in the bum it can be to get right. Now I know the choice of grey undercoat

Good to see you alive and kicking, Cosmic I've missed your work (since you don't update your blog anymore... *grumble*) and I'm happy to say that your painting skills have improved considerably! Looking forward to the next update! Ludovic

Hi, Ludovic! Nice to see you on here I'm afraid me and Blogspot don't really get on, it used to take me an hour just to do one post, for some reason it would just stop uploading pictures and I would have to refresh the page and start again! So I stopped updating and just left it, I may get back to it though. Glad you like the sisters though would like to see your own work on here soon!

Ah, I see. Yeah, that's a bugger. But then again, as I've found you here, you don't need to go back to Blogger just for me As for me posting here, if you follow this link, you'll see that I may actually have a good reason to make a thread for my project Ludovic

Cheers Empty, we should get her on the table for a game before I send her to Paimon That sounds really good, if Paimon could bear the thought of them galavanting a little then I'd love the chance to see them in real life. Perhaps we could pick a day that Tread is free too.

But then again, as I've found you here, you don't need to go back to Blogger just for me As for me posting here, if you follow this link, you'll see that I may actually have a good reason to make a thread for my project Ludovic Ooooo I'm intrigued! Get some pictures up and start a thread, we'd all like to see them I'm sure : I'm hoping to get them done by Friday and ship them off, so alas I won't have any time now however, I would like another game at some point, so we shall arrange another meet up soon UPDATE Well neither Me or Paimon were sure what base Celestine was actually meant to be on, I'd seen some pictures of her on the 25mm base, and then others with a 40mm. This left me confused so I came up with a solution stolen from the new Angron model from FW......give Celestine both!! The 25mm base sits on top of the 40mm, and then I built up the base around her. She requires a little twisting to make her fit in securely, almost like a corkscrew action, but she's safe and secure once she's in it. I may also add a magnet just for an ectra measure. So I shall leave you with some juicy close-ups!..

Wow! Very nice and filled with juicy little details, as you put it so well The scroll work and the base are especially good, though I do have two bits of criticism: 1) I'd add a bit more depth to her face by darkening the colour in the recesses. And 2) don't leave her hair white. Maybe that wasn't even the plan, but it doesn't look too good right now. However, if your customer wishes it to be so, then that's how it shall be Cheers, Ludovic EDIT: I also think that if you highlighted the face plate of the helmet on her base a wee bit, it would look less monochrome.

Thanks Ludovic, What you have to remember though is that she is a woman, as such, facial features are softer with shallower lumps and bumps. Therefore I don't want to darken them, otherwise she'll look very manly and rough if anything her face is too dark already and needs lightening up. And I'm happy with her hair, and Pamon seems to be too. I think it's supposed to be black, but I'm not a fan of black hair, she really will look like a man if I did it black! The face plate has been highlighted, it's the weathering pigments that have dirtied it up a little and darkend it Thanks for the input though, Ludovic when are you starting your thread?

I like the blackened helmet because it looks like either Celestine is moving to avenge a recently toasted sister, or that the battle is taking place on frequently contested ground.
White hair is the stereotype sister hair colour, if any one should have that colour, it should be Celestine.
