I'll bet that moon worm cares, even if it also wants more pics.

Ah well, the Moon Worm cares about all... and eats/drinks all...
I think the Moon Worm wants the pictures even more than I do (if that's possible) - it keeps rubbing against me and making a cross between growling and cooing noises... quite disturbing actually...

The Mighty Moon Worm (a giant scaly worm beast somewhat similar in appearance to a Trygon) that is rubbing against me making provocative noises in an attempt to see more of your work Walters... obviously I blame you entirely... for the Moon Worm's current activities... and reserve the right to blame you for other things aswell... unless you upload more pictures Down Clive! Don't chew that... that's my replacement Land Raider...

Great work again Sgt Walters. I like the "gold" - what are the colours that you are using for the mix?

ah sweet sweet uploady satisfaction... my only criticism is that I would have been slightly less harsh with the highlighting... or maybe just thin the highlight lines a little? The Gold, the Skull and the writing are all a continuation of the impressive work I was expecting - Bravo! now... if I can just find a way to stop the Moon Worm from purring...

Chaplain McAwesome Pants. He has an aquila butt-plate.
And why would you ever want the moon worm to stop purring? It's when it stops that I start to worry...

But I have to say that they look much better IRL. Here's another pic of the whole terminator squad now with the segeant too: Next it's more tactical marines, the commander, and a whirlwind!

I thought it might be better in real life The close ups we favour so much do seem to bring out even the most minor of flaws - flaws that, when seen at true size, aren't really there. Deffinately looking awesome with the whole squad together. Looking forward to seeing the other stuff your planning! Any ideas on what you'll be doing for the bases? The Moon Worms purring is just a little... odd... coming from a creature of it's size and appearance... suppose it's an improvement over the rubbing though

Deffinately looking awesome with the whole squad together. I agree. I'm painting this chaplan up myself at the moment (as part of my 'i need to paint good' campaign) and found looking at yours very wierd! He looks amazing with the terminators, really puts your hard work and crazy painting technique into context! Great job! ;D

Any ideas on what you'll be doing for the bases? Haven't decided that yet, but I think I'll go with Red this time. Mars type landscape. I alreadyhave plenty of brown bases, Tallarns are going to have yellow bases and I just hate green grassy bases.

Pure awesomeness - you should be extremely proubd of what you've done. Get yourself a scout squad (to go with the speeder) and get down to your local store - Wow some mortals with your painting powers

Gotta do that This one comes with them: Damn this one was a pain on the behind to paint. For some reason my new foundation darksun is almost as covering as the old shiny bad moon yellow, and I had to paint like six layers before it was fully opaque. Luckily I found an Army Painter spray that is amost the same colour than Iyanden. Spraycoat of that and then just one coat of darksun for toning should be enough for the next tanks.

I have a real quick question Sgt. Walters...the driver of the flying machine has camo on his legs it looks like. You have exactly the color on him that I want to paint. What are the colors/method of generating that? Provided of course you don't care that I copy. You will get full credit, as well as a Sgt in said army will bear your name.
I also like your awesome use of yellows, not so bright as to be showy yet not so dark as to be muddied. Nice, I am both jealous and impressed.

Thanks again for the comments guys! It's actually not a camo (just bad highlihting), but it actually looks a bit like one. I try to keep these guys as simple as possible, so I only use a couple of base colours. The trousers are just Scorched brown highlighted with the same colour mixed with skull white. I think you could make a good camopattern with just that brown, a mix with white and scorched brown and maybe some black spots. Remember to post pics when you get your minis painted.
