The normal cadian sgt would do as he's screaming and without helm, as far as the specific marine chapter=Lamenters, no one else would do lol! Yeah, I have traded away all the Cadian Sergeant bits, unfortunately. Nobody in my club plays Lamenters, though we do have Blood Angels, Impy Fists, Crimson Fists, and Sallies--and the Sallies player gets notoriously butt-hurt when things go wrong for him during a game. Tau, Sphess Elves, 'Crons, and Orks (also played by the same guy who plays Sallies) also represent.

The Red Terror has gotten itself a new friend/snack: Meat with a side of fungus, anyone? Bon appetit...

Love the gun shells, that's a great idea. You could put loads on the base too

Love the gun shells, that's a great idea. You could put loads on the base too Thanks! Yeah, I may have to add all sorts of detritus to the base. I added a magazine to the slugga last night, and ordered some muzzle flash bits from Armorcast, so the slugga will be blastin'. Good decision on the tail extension, looks much, much better. Thanks! I think so too, but with your approval it's official. The Red Terror got yet another friend/snack last night, and it's his favorite kind: Ultramarine-flavored Sphess Muhreen Sergeant. Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Note the belt of krak grenades the Sergeant is holding. Note the lack of a pin on one of the grenades. Say it with me now: "'Chu wan' sum' KRAK!?"

Hope you kept the pin, this is turning into an epic diorama!

Thanks! The pin was removed with clippers around 1 AM in poor light, so it's fairly mangled. As the Sergeant soon will be... I've got to go in under his right arm and GS in the flexible armor, as there's a bit of a gap between the arm and the body due to the non-standard positioning of the arm.

So a quick poll for your, the esteemed reader's, consideration:
What race do you want to see as the Red Terror's next snack?
A. Sphess Elf.
B. Spikey Sphess Elf.
C. 'Cron.
D. 'Nid (since his Instinctive Behavior is "Feed").
E. Tau.
F. Chaos Sphess Muhreen.
G. Daemon.

Good catch. Once Battle Sisters are available in plastic that will become a viable option. I'm not going to sacrifice the crew-woman of the Immolator I've got stashed away somewhere at this point though... E or F. If you need bits for either of those, I might be able to help Reds Please bring them to Victory tomorrow!

A or E. Because Taudar needs to be taken down a notch, even if only in modelling.

Painting of the Red Terror has commenced: I'm also working on the Ultramarine Sergeant snack, but he will be photographed (along with the other snacks) once everything is done, and they are plugged into the maw.

It's even more horrific in person. My camera wanted to focus on its mid-section rather than the maw/gullet, so you're missing all the definition and shine of the mouth parts. I was listening to this on a loop while painting: Someone on the Book 'o Face said this means my Hive Fleet is christened "Zilla." I agree.

Actually my suggestion to you on facebook, of a tyranid eating a 2nd generation space hulk plastic genestealer hybrid would be just too weird, on reflection.

I do have a crapton of the old style Genestealers... However, I will also have extra of the newer style ones once I finish assembling my full strength brood of them. I'd feel bad about sacrificing an old Genestealer, but the new ones not so much.

that's one jucky tervigon, and the paintsheme reminded me a bit of a black widow spider. the only thing that in my opinion looks a bit weird are the parts of the maw that would still be exposed when the monster closes it's jaws, yet are still in the fleshy colour of the inner jaw (i find it hard to describe what i mean in words, but maybe you'll get what i mean?). besides that i really think it looks good!

Thanks! It's not a Tervigon, it's the Red Terror. The mouth/maw coloring is shared across all of my 'Nids. If you look back a page or two you will see my Warrior and Zoanthrope testers, which are based off of this scheme I saw on BoLS: Basically, they secrete bloody-looking lubricant from their mouths and around their mouths (and other orifices) along the lines of the original Xenomorph from "Alien" and "Aliens."

Although now thinking about it Hendrik's suggestion is good. If you make a termagant coming out of it's maw - hey presto! An instant alternative tervigon. But she's vomiting them out instead... You can then run a list with 2 tervigons, 60 termagants and have few spare be spawned in the game. Edit - but she is a bit small for a tervigon.

And there's also the fact that I've got an actual Tervigon kit to build. Plus, my first brood of 30 'Gants are armed with Devourers, and the 'Gon only poops out 'Gants with Fleshborers. For what they are, building Termagants takes far too long, and I still need to start in on building my brood of 'Borer-armed ones. I am now in the process of painting Old One Eye and my Trygon so I can set up a photo that replicates something from this episode of "Regular Marine" by Flash-Gitz at the behest of one of the creators.

Aw heck yeah, I'm just digging the shiny insect black on those. The slugga boyz' defiant dakka ending pleases me also.
