The huge thing is called an Imperial Leviathan. It's basically a mobile kick-ass command center. It can support an entire company of infantry.

Small version of a Leviathan then. A Leviathan can support several REGIMENTS of Imperial Guard and has several landing pads on top and are only armed with hundreds of auto- and hydraflakcannons for AA-combat. Leviathans normally don't even get close to the battlefield. Same for Chaos Masscarriers. These things normally try to avoid any form of combat but can support thousand of soldiers/aircraft.

Basically a giant aircraft carrier on tracks.........nice. Not much of a problem for a manta though!
Are there any rules for the Leviathan, I've never heard of this "Tank"? before. Where did you get this info from?

It's still no Leviathan. A Leviathan is much bigger and has no offensive weaponary. Unless you count several REGIMENTS of IG or squads of Space Marines and a little armada of aircraft as it's offensive weapons. Leviathans are nothing else then mobile HQs that stay behind the frontlines and do nothing then waiting, planning, organising and supplying the airforce. The same is for Chaos Mass Carriers.

Not sure if I could do it better with those parts. I just don't like it when the vehicle is smaller then the gun and turret since it looks really sick. But I guess its personal taste...
