Keep up the good work. Major Downer Thanks mate, hopefully I'll finish the vets next week! It really does, my bedroom only has a tiny window so I always have to use my lamp, which gives the pictures a yellow hue and ruins them. I'll use natural light from now on Cheers 3ff3ct, hopefully it'll get a little bigger sooner, I'm not seeing the girlfriend for a while which means my money won't be spent in a restaurant or anything, so I might as well get something... I was thinking a Chimera or Hellound, or Basilisk.....hmmmmmmm *strokes his beard* Cosmic

Oh yes, I learned the hard way how much money disappears when you treat your girlfriend... It's good to see that even though you are such a good painter you can still take advice from others

I'd love to see your take on a Hellhound (or Devil Dog or Bane Wolf) or a Basilisk--or BOTH!

I would like to see the Hellhound or the basilisk in your camo scheme. The hellhound would fit into your army better, in my personal opinion. Major Downer

Thanks everyone hopefully next Monday I'll pop down to the GW in Brighton and pick up a Hellhound. Until then, I'll do some snooping about here and look at what other people have done with their Hellhounds

No-one ever mentions the detrimental effects of women on hobbies, do they? I may be downsizing when I move in a couple of months, and I bet you can guess what will be going to live in my parents attic...

Nice work! A couple of things: the chipped paint look is great, adds lots of character to this army. The new banner is certainly more dynamic than the first attempt. Bases are simple and clean, and don't take away from the model. Lovely! Your gemming is top-notch sir.
Now, the (minor) complaints.... It doesn't look like you have drilled barrels. I'm not talking las-guns, that would be silly. I'm talking melta-guns, flamers, maybe the plasma. Of course, across the table top it may not be noticed, but its what I do. Finally, I'm not a fan of the painted squad numbers. You have these beautiful looking models, and sloppy looking pauldrons.
Just my honest opinion. I do look forward to more from you.

Thank you very much Pax glad you like them. I do agree with the shoulders, but I don't know what else to do really as the normal transfers are only in white, and I need black. I'm aware that Forgeworld have a Black transfer sheet available, but I don't want to pay £8 for it. I suppose I could make my own, but that'll take too long and will probably be even more expensive! I'll leave them for the moment, and when I can I'll see what I can do. Cosmic

One way is to make yourself a set of stencils, maybe out of masking tape or something, and punch out the squad numbers... it's what I want to do, although I haven't figured out an easy way to do it yet.

Hmm interesting idea Sil, that may actually work. I agree that it might be quite hard to make the stencil, but it's worth trying.
