I second Cosmic's medusa questions. I really admire the Armageddon pattern and would love to pick up a medusa and two basilisk at some point. I'm quite jealous right now

The weathering and corrosion looks good. I'd like to know how you handled the corrosion of the 'turret'. I'm not sure about the red fabric for the heavy bolter but maybe that makes more sense when you see the whole army.

Really cool finish on both models. I really wanted the FW Hydra kit, but I'm holding on to the hope that GW will release one along with the new codex
I had similar issues with my Medusa, although I didn't have any major problems with the rear door more the internal floor.
I also had problems around the gun opening around the front, had to cut away so much to get the gun barrel to fit through

@empty: I sponged on some warlock Bronze and then I have some enamel paints for the dirty/rusty look, that I dab with white spirt. The red cloth is on all of my tanks, just to make them stand out a bit more. dangerrod: Thanks man I know what you mean, I was wait for GW to do a Medusa but I got bored of waiting for them. I think they will bring out the Hydra, its just a case of when and if it looks cool enough to fit with your army :/ Yep, Internal floor was a ball ache to fit in, Oh yes the opening for the cannon was horrible! I had to cut way the part of it just so the cannon would skim it just enough, that it wouldn't take the paint off. Other then that... A great kit Right! I have bought the Legion Basilisk because it looked too cool and I want to be that douche, who fits it into is Vostroyan army More to come Major Downer

Well I'm back again! I've been so busy painting tanks that I'd treat myself to something a little smaller. My Laser destroyer! (Lighting in my room is a pain in my spin) Major Downer

YAAAAY you kept my little screen! I had to leave some original features I'll start work on my strong hold so I can take better pictures and have a back ground instead of my desk and poor lighting. Major Downer

I'm Back in the painting chair, I've finished a lot of Vostroyan Heavy weapons teams and a Tech Preist too, Pictures to follow. For now, this is my Thunder Bolt Pilot. I didn't realise how bad the base was until I see it in the picture, I'll have to start over. Major Downer

The banner looks odd, no regular man can hold a banner like that one handed. I would suggest replacing the pole with small hollow metal rod. I did one due to the plastic banner pole snapped, you can cut the pole off the bottom of the banner as well as both ends of the hand, then drill a small hole up the bottom side of the banner and through the hand, fit the rod in and use green stuff to fix the fingers.

But this is WarHammer 40K, no man is regular. Agreed it does look a little odd but thats because the wind changed I can hold a Lamb Of God flag one handed, whilst drinking a beer. Major Downer

I have 5 DKOK Rough riders to go with My Commissar that I already have. Firstly I'd like to say to anyone who is thinking about getting these kits, they are fantastic! Only a small amount of Green stuff work to hide the small gaps and joins. They are very detailed and look superb. This is the leading Officer completed.

Boy did I pick a good time to check the forums...
Looking good old friend! In a couple of weeks your Vosty's might have a new Redcoat tank commander buddy kicking around the forums. Don't want to give too much away, but, I'm planning on breaking the norm a little. When my little project is underway, I wouldn't mind some feed back from you, as I'm planning a similar scheme for my armour.
Hope all is well and good buddy, nice to see an update on this thread, missed your updates. For the Emporer!
Dave.

I've completed my Omega. After a lot of work rebuilding the tank and nearly lobbing it into the bin,I have finally something that really enjoy and can be apart of my Super Heavy Family. I have also nearly finished my Vostroyans with Cadian Armour, then ready basing. I stripped my first Preator and started again. Once ForgeWorld send me the replacement parts I can start the second one. I don't think 2 Preator Assault Launchers is Over Kill? My Current enjoyment is my Voss Lightening Strike. I love it! So mush fun to build and paint.

The new tanks are looking brilliant. Great weathering, especially on the plasma blastgun.
The plastic Vostroyan conversions are great and I think the ones with standard cadian arms look better than the ones with storm trooper arms, so if you want to make meltaguns maybe try to get the cadian command squad special weapon arms. They'll be easier to fit and will look more natural but otherwise these are very cool conversions. Are you making more of these?

Those tanks are looking sweet. Personally I'd say that getting two Preators is pushing it... I mean; ofcourse you get to have a foehammer one and a firestorm one, but what if you really want to get some extra anti-air, then what do you do? Get a hydra instead of a pilum launcher?

Thanks Nutty. Praetor Launcher also has the Pilum Warhead, Twin Linked AA Mount. So what your saying is I require a Third one to balance it out I aslo do have a Hydra and Lightening for anti Air.
