...Hmmmm... Perhaps try to get the pistol out of his hand and replace it with an empty/outstretched one? Is the model metal? I do have to say one thing. You are amazing at painting. That red looks brilliant.

All Vosties are metal, Thats why its hard to customize them. I would have cut that arm off but i was scared of destroying the model all together, so i chose to stay on the safe side.
Personally, I've done a lot worse and I think it makes a nice objective peice.

Drooping barrel, not the best thing to have when you're in the military. I mean, someone is bound to notice.....

Ah, I see I'm not the only person who has barrel droop on his Destroyer kit... I'm probably going to rip mine apart, and see if I can get the top front plate to sit at a better angle, so the barrel will be more parallel to the ground. It's really a shame, because it's otherwise a really nice kit. it definitely needs some viagra.....speaking of which, apparently there is a spider which has venom that contains a chemical much like viagra....so it bites you, you die slowly, but you're ready for some fun. Ah yeah, I just saw a bit about this on the show "1000 Ways to Die" the other day. Apparently it's called a Wandering (or Traveling?) Spider, and it sometimes inhabits bunches of bananas, and then leaps out and bites people when they are handling the bananas. Just another reason for me to avoid bananas like the plague that they are...

Finally some one who understands what i've been through! I don't know if its just me Trooper but it was a pain in the bum to put together, I had to use Green stuff on most parts, Super glue wouldn't hold it at all. At one point i felt like selling it on Ebay BUT i got through the anger and got it done. Mavis Is on the Painting table now, looking like a true Vostie tank Major Downer

Maybe someday we can play together and field our Destroyers and call them "Droopy" and... um... "Drippy"? I didn't have any problems putting mine together, until I got to the front plate and the sagging barrel. I think that the top of the front plate is too thick, and that if I can shave it down, it might rest farther back at a less acute angle, and might raise the barrel so it's not all flaccid looking...

Maybe one day I will come over, Droopy and Drippy can show the other team the art of doubles tank hunting Sounds like yours was better than mine, Lucky git! My Destroyer had to go under the knife to make everything fit right. It was a right big. UPDATE: He has been fully painted, little bit of touch ups and he will be up for you tomorrow I'm looking at getting a medusa OR a manticore next........Hmmmm! Major Downer

I'm eagerly waiting to see pics of your painted up stuff!
As to what to purchase next, my vote would be for a Manticore. Although the FW Manticore/Hydra kit does need a bit of additional work to make the pieces for the hull fit properly. However, they are quite nice once assembled.

Looking good! The barrel droop on the Destroyer isn't as noticeable now, for some reason... Did you fix it before painting? I especially like your use of the old style Krieg tank commander on it.
