I think a bit of definition on your urban camo tank would improve it a bit, maybe some extreme edge highlights. Similarly, maybe a quick drybrush over the destroyer to get the panel edges. Other than that they are very nice, and I am a bit jealous |

Talk to Trooper, he has some explosion markers he made for wrecked tanks out of cotton. He might be able to help you out.

I collect Krieg, and I will be honest I was torn between Vostroyans and Kriegans for the longest longest time. I ended up going Krieg bc they seemed to have more options than Vostroyan, but seeing your guys all painted up (GLORIOUSLY may I add) I may just have to pick up a box of them for poops and giggles. Very well done, sir! Btw the syringe with the water in it looks like he's giving a huge middle finger to who ever you fight. it made me lol |

Thanks Reds I'll get on that like sonic. @kriegeirk: Thank you very much sir See I was like you, wasn't sure between the two BUT I chose Vosties because Krieg looked too much like WWI guys, If I wanted to do WWI I'd go and do some other game, Don't get me wrong Kreig look cool and im always looking at them on Forge World but Vosties have that more future space feel to them. I'm glad you like my Artillery army, I have more on the way so watch out. Major Downer |

I understand your reasoning, it was a very difficult decision to make, but I am pleased with it. there's no saying I'll collect Vostroyan down the road some day. I most definitely will! I dig the Cossack look. As for the WWI look, thats what sold me on them wasnt too big a fan on the cadian's, uniforms just dont do anything for me. I do like the Valhallan's too, very WWII Soviet. Im trying to get pictures of my troops up. the painting isnt quite finished yet, stillhave some highlighting to do and weathering. they look too clean right now hahaha.

That is a nice looking Manticore, and props on the crewman!
For a smoke trail, I've found that taking some cotton wadding from a pill bottle, stretching it out and fluffing it up, immersing it in diluted orange paint, allowing it to dry, and then hitting it with a light burst of black spray makes for a nice flame and smoke effect.

Great job on the manticore! In response to the (very) previous question, an edge highlight shouldnt spoil what your wash weathering has created. Just be careful with chip effects as these'll need re-doing. Im very impressed with your improvement, I think you should invest in the imperial armour masterclass book and up your game!

Look what I Bought off e-bay I finally got my hands on two out of the three dead Vostroyans, The third one is on his way so don't panic! Also on its way is another squad of ten Vostroyans and 3 mortar teams. I've painted up one of the mortars so far, the crew shall follow shortly.     I also did a little change to my flamer dude, He now has a melta gun  I have more pictures but like the last picture they are a bit too dark, so tomorrow I'll take some better ones.
