OMG.... it looks like a facehugger got that 1st 1.... and then the chest burster nibbled his foot off! russian colonial marines maybe? oh my.... i'm thinking too much again! -.- thats a lot of blood.... i think the second 1 had it worse though.... the intestines hanging out reminds me of the beach scene of saving private ryan..... there looking great major.... keep it up  Dave |

Very nice indeed! I think the top Vostie with his chest ripped open needs some gloss or something on the inside, just to give it that glistening wet blood and guts look  |

MORE! Ok, so I did what Cosmic said and i put a couple of coats of Gloss Varnish over the blood to make it look more " blood like". I also got the third and final Dead Vostroyan and painted him up   A couple more Plasma guys.  My First Servo Skull that I got from a swap with Cosmic. Now They were already painted up good so there was no need for me to mess it up I changed the based to my style and I think they will fit in well with my Vostroyans  Thats all for now as I have a 4 day Bike Test starting tomorrow. Another little up date I think Ok, so Im going to start with my Destroyer, Now I know You've seen it before but I took Effects advise and put some highlights on the bad boy to bring out some of the features. so here is a before.  and after     I know I said this Vostroyan army is an Artillery army, BUT I could not stop myself from Painting up an old Chimera that I found. So far its Half painted so I'll only show you the good part, The other side looks like a building site    I also Bought a Squad of 10 dudes off of ebay, So far only three have been painted. I'm thinking of putting the sergent on top of my Chimera in the turret, What are your thoughts on this as I'm not sure. I do have another vostie that I can add to the squad so I won't be a man down.  Here are the other seven that need stripping down, That shall be done this weekend.  Please C&C as always Many Thanks Major Downer |

I particularly like the third dead man. The destroyer looks good too.
Maybe the Chimera's a command vehicle?

Thank you Effect I wasn't to sure on what people may think on the Vostroyan twist with the Deth korp heavy flamers but at least you and I like them aye I have just managed a swap for and squad of ten and the command squad for two old Russes that I didnt use. I have ALOT on my painting table, I need to finish 3 mortar teams and convert my heavy bolter dude to be a missile launcher dude, put a SGT in the turret of my Chimera and finish that bad boy off. this will be my last post for some time. Hmmm... Chenkov looks really good in Vostie colors. I like the heavy flamer team, but I think--and this is only my opinion--that you need to do something to them to make them more Vostie... The thing that comes to my mind is to green stuff Vostie style fur hats over the DKoK helmets.
