There's ways of making plaster less brittle and more durable, such as mixing in glue or adding plastic mesh in layers inside it. Latex wouldn't be too expensive a way of making molds, and the loss of detail wouldn't really matter as all the bits seem quite big. |

if you're going to cast it i would suggest casting only sections of it, this way you can insert them in simple cut up foam, while allowing a variety of trench-shapes

I plan on this being a 2ft x 2ft section of a bigger board, there will be another next time that has a HW emplacement and a 3rd that has a command tent I think. I hope for them to be used with the realm of battle board.

Well I think it is time for a change. I'm thinking it's time to do some tanks, with my recent trade antics I now have 10 Leman Russ, 3 Chimera a Baneblade and a Hellhammer. Obviously there will still be terrain bits going on but what do you guys think? Should I sort my tank section out?

Heh, i have odd numbers now too... i have 1 steel legion and 2 tallarn and 7 storm troopers Cant lay my hands on the rest of the army to count but thats not the point  |

UPDATE TIME! Well some of you will have seen that I got my hands on a Shrine of the Aquilla box set over the weekend, I also had 2 Sanctum Imperialis sets laying around. This inspired me to build something a little on the big side, so here you go.     What do you all think? |

It does have some bits of plastic I forgot to remove though. And Statues will join it once I get the next lot of foam from B&Q.

They are coming, just need the foam. I still have enough to build another Sanctum, 3 buildings already made, the Statue and the Dockyard. I will get round to it.
