So I decided it is finally time to start painting my army and letting you guys actually see it.
But before we get round to that my ebay bargain. It has just arrived this morning consisting of - 1 Leman russ, 1 basilisk, 1 valk, 1 space marine drop pod, 50 Cadians including 2 weapon teams, 3 barricades I think they are from the defence line set and various other scenery bits. All this was for the bargain price of £40, unfortunately it looks like it was put together by my 4 year old son and then painted by my 1 year old.
Since I like to be prepared I all ready have nail varnish remover to clean then up, I will put up some photos of before and after when I get started later today.

The russ is in pieces without any major breakages. On to the valk now

Does anyone know where I can get replacement canopies for a valk? They didn't fair too well in breakdown
Also does anyone have a digital copy of the instructions? I think the original builder got a bit carried away.

Holy cow, that'l need some fixing  If you need any bits that get squashed let me know, i have lots around, maybe i can help if need be. I think i have some tank parts available like tank tracks, track guards, tank stowage to cover up gaps if something breaks. Just drop me a pm if need be mate  |

So far the Russ came apart pretty well, there are still bits to remove though. The valkyrie didn't fair so well and is in need of a new canopy.

I like the chimera too but this was just too good an offer to turn down. I've not even started on the infantry yet.

So much paint...so little talent.
But whomever did it atleast made an effort to paint the models. I know many people who don´t paint their at all.

I'd rather they hadn't painted them, I'd know where things connect then to make it easier to break down. As it stands the russ and valk are in pieces and I have holes on 2 fingers, not bad going if you ask me.

No wonder you can't get them apart, you're to busy cutting yourself  I guess we have all been there unfortunately. I blame it on gw. They shouldn't make it so expensive  |
