Nice! The newer style Russ turrets work surprisingly well on the FW emplacement mounts. When going through a box last week I uncovered a couple emplacement mounts I had gotten years ago... Now you are giving me ideas.

Update: Imperial Knight! Magnetized to be a Knight Errant also, I put in a cockpit with a servo skull, pilot still missing as I'm looking for the right fit for the empty FW thunderbolt chair that I used, right now I'm thinking of the FW Centaur driver.. imgur.com/a/J3U0VVtI am working on the scions ATM, bulked the 2 box I bought with extra cadian bits to a bloated 25 man platoon! primed a mysterious new force, finished 10/20 more conscripts, creed and kell CCS, 2 more Venoms for my DE. Assembled the turdbox, may go with the Victoria mini wheels to make it a half track.

The grey tones on that knight is spot on! I'm really impressed by all of you that have done these big models lately! And, might I add, never a bad one!

Update: Knight castigator(image above, also group photo of my house Hawkshroud); Arvus Lighter(image 1st page), there are some broken links of my cadians and catachans due to them being redone as they were my earliest 40k; bought some recasts of dkok, madrobots unit made into spetsnaz.
Working on my 2nd ork battlewagon, built to look like mad max style with deftrolla, ork commander wearing cow head shape face plate. Tau is all revamped with the exception of vespids(missing a head somewhere in strip tube). Dark Eldar is up to date.

Outstanding painting, as usual. Good highlights on the assassins and the dark red on the chaos marines really stands out.

Nice Assassins!
The other I saw on the Book o' Face someone who had painted theirs pretty much all in bare skin, except for strategic mankinis on the Eversor, Vindicare, and Culexus. It was... interesting. I was a bit disappointed that they hadn't painted their Callidus yet... I assume that she would've had a complete bikini.

Lovely, and fitting with a cup of Tanna. Have you made the models yourself?

Lovely, and fitting with a cup of Tanna. Have you made the models yourself? God no, that be too much work, I got them from Artel miniatures. They are about 1/2 to full head taller than the GW/madrobot range, but in scale, Jurgen's lasgun is the same size, I actually like the fact that they have different heights, not every man is 6'. Looks like Cain is now OOP for the moment, they may have some in stock for the future, but Jurgen is still available. artelw.com/#w--ul-id-570-2/Officer`s-Aide/p/98225073/category=27134181--w

No matter where they’re from, they look good. Especially the Valhallan. (I do love me some great coats!)

Cain and Jurgen look really good; lots of details on the pouches. Is Jurgen reading a (porno) data slate?

It must have been fun painting a sandwich. Sorry I couldn't see it at that angle.
What kind of varnish do you use? Is it applied with a brush or spray?

I was using GW purity seal, normally I would use army builder matte varnish but the local store was out; also I use washes without shaking too much if I want satin, if I want matte clogged dirt I shake a ton and apply on tracks.

That's a good looking platoon you got there. I especially like the bases; they give a real overgrown jungle feel, without being cluttered.
