"The Greater Good now guides the Tau in their conquest of the galaxy." -Lexicanum Tau exist to expand their empire for the Greater Good. Otherwise... they'd be chilling on their home planets and see very little conflict. And as for the Matt Ward thing, well...

Okay. I like how the sound was taken from Dow... And I don't see how this changes them from being all about the Greater Good.
I also kinda like how they spent just about a full minute making it look as low-budget as possible while still being in focus.

Looks neat. I have all of my brother's tau sitting in a box in my basement...he hasn't looked at them in years.
Wonder if this will get him excited about them again, if not...I may just steal them.

It's going to be a mini dreadknight and look awful. Dreadknight: Mini me! ^_^ *kills it to save it from being corrupted* Dreadknight and a mini dreadknight on a flyer base (sans stem) with the mini dreadknight mounting an Icarus lascannon?

Allow me to set the stage of the production for one of these 'videos.' Production Guy 1: "So with the new Tau stuff coming out we are going to need another video. You know how all of the warhammer hobbyists just love our videos.
Production Guy 2: "Oh yeah they go absolutely nuts over the stuff."
Production Guy 3: "I'll give my cousin, Jim a call."
Production Guy 2: "Jim? Which one is Jim?"
Production Guy 3: "You know. The guy who does all the gruff sounding narrations."
Production Guy 2: "Ohhh right, right. So, I guess I should call my niece then right? She's all tech-savvy and wants to go into computer design when she gets out of high school."
Production Guy 1: "Yeah, that's a great idea. We all know what a great job she did on that Daemons teaser trailer."
Production Guy 3: "I'll get one of the 'eavy Metal guys to loan us a random Tau model they painted. We'll use Barry's e-cigarette for 'smoke' and have a red flashlight for 'the mood' ".
Production Guy 1: "Great! Let's get to work! We'll be done before tea and crumpets!" Sorry. Rant over.

Is it "our ascention is a matter of time" or "our ascention, a matter of time" either way what they put was wrong i think.

Ascension is the correct spelling. If that's the issue you're raising.

Even if I was superduper interested in Tau, this video wouldn't whet my appetite. It's like they unleashed someone's kid on an unsuspecting computer with Windows Movie Maker installed.

Like the look of the new cover, and that missile suit looks very Gundam-esque

I must say, I like the look of the new Battlesuit Commanders, Broadsides and the Riptide. Also, the cover is fantastic.
If this is how the new codex covers are going to look, I have a feeling that the centerpiece of ours (probably out in time for 7th edition) will be centered around a Russ.

Yeah, I've gotta confess that I like the look of the new Broadsides and the Riptide, and am fighting down the urge to acquire and paint in Gundam colors... Price is most likely going to prevent me from going through with such a crack-brained scheme.

It would be kinda fun to have one painted up to look like a GOUF, if not to be able to plonk it down onto the table and say, "This is no Zaku, boy. NO ZAKU!"

I have no idea what you just said, mr. Sharps, and I have a major in English.
At any rate, the pictures are not making me interested in the least. It's still like the north-eastern corner of the galaxy is anime central.

Maybe also paint a Crisis Team of three units in Dom colors and call them the Black Tri-stars? I have no idea what you just said, mr. Sharps, and I have a major in English. At any rate, the pictures are not making me interested in the least. It's still like the north-eastern corner of the galaxy is anime central. I understood Sharps perfectly well. Those who know, know. Also, south-eastern corner of the galaxy, not north-eastern...
