GGXVI: Line Breaker
With warfare constantly evolving, be it the cratered battlefields of the 41st millenium, or the muddy killing fields of Warhammer, there is an eternal arms race to create devastating war machines and formidable units. This competition is all about those guys that are made to ruin any opponents day, and turn the tides of battle.
This can be for any games system, any scale, and can be a kit, conversion or scratch-built. Alls that matters is that it's heavy-hitting and suitibly intimidating. If you wish to add a decription of why you submitted it, background to the unit etc then that's fine.
If it's a super awesome scratch-built apocalpse formation, or an elite veteran of kicking butt, with its own special rules/game effects/whatever, please include them too! That way we can steal it
The project must be started on as of NOW (on or after this date), not something you have started already. Hence the need for WIPs. No cheating!
The model/models submitted can be converted (this is strongly encouraged), kit-bashed, whatever you fancy, although it must all be done by YOU. So no commissions or pre-painted stuff off ebay. You have been warned
As usual, entries will consist of Final Finished Product (FFP) photos, preferably at least 3 (from different angles), and up to 3 WIP photos.
At least 1 WIP must be provided, to show that it was your own work! This can be during the building stage, primed, whatever.
Please send them unscripted (IE without the brackets), then I can cut & paste into the voting thread, which will save me around a week of my life

Also, please avoid giving members 'sneak peeks' of what you're up to in your own threads, or discussing what you've done in threads.

Please also provide good quality photos. Borrow a digital camera with a macro setting if you must, as some mobile phone pictures do not look as good as they should. You want to do your painting justice! If we can't see your wonderful painting, how can we vote for it?
If you would like pictures cropping etc then I can do that for you, providing the quality of the original image is acceptable. I’m not photoshopping them so everyone can tell what it is… Let me know beforehand please
All entries must be submitted to myself via PM by Sunday 29th September 2013 at 24:00 Local, and as with previous competitions a separate voting thread will be created. Any entries after this will not be included. A new GG competition will be created around the same time.
The winner will receive praise, glory, and a super secret mystery prize of awesomeness. Trust me, it's awesome and you want it!
As always, this is all in the name of fun, and improving our painting skills, so please EVERYONE submit something!
EDIT: An additional side quest has been added for purposes of hilarity, the best 'Sofa Of Questionable Fuids' produced will win an awesome prize, donated by an eccentric philanthropic benificiary! Hoorah!
Closing date is the same as the main 'Linebreaker' competition.
