Howdy everyone well I am back. I have been redoing my guard army. I once upon a time had a thread for my army going but that was awhile ago so I am starting a new one to post my progress. I have recently finished my CCS and so that will be my first post so with further a due CCS of the 113th Close up from left to right Medic, plasma gunner, and vox caster Then lastly two close ups of my company standard bearer and company commander who was awarded a servo skull scribe by the imperium for the extraordinary skills he has shown against the forces of chaos his arm was also severed when he fought against his old military friend who was lured to the forces of chaos. It is now replaced with a bionic arm which counts as a power fist. I know the lighting is not the best but its the best i have here at 11:00 at night. I am currently working on there chimera which i am quite happy about so far. I should have it posted in a few days. If you want me to re-post anything when the lighting is a little better let me know i would be happy to oblige.

Excellent work man. The conversions are spectacular and the ideas to fulfill the different squad roles are genius.

The command squad and their ride look great. I like the crack in the chimera's armour: it's a bit different than the battle damage you normally see on tanks, but looks cool.
Keep up the good work

Thank you nutty. Ya the crack was an unattended out come that turned out looking good in my eyes it was originally green stuff I tried to use to smooth out the corner for the plastic card but I couldn't smooth it out to be flush with the plasticard which gave it the look of being a crack

And here i am back with another update. So recently i just finished a squadron of armored sentinels. The fluff behind them is on ASUS the imperium is still a new thing. Training on imperial war-machines are slow and when it comes to sentinel training its considered an honor among the ranks. When ASUS first received blue prints to make sentinels the greatest minds of the ASUSIAN people set out to make the humble sentinel into a top notch fighting machine. Since ASUS pushed out its first sentinel there has been three generations of Sentinels. When A pilot finishes his training he is given the honor of picking which generation he wants to call his own. and without further a due. Generation 1 "Atmoscar" Generation 2 "Spector" \ Generation 3 "Bolt" And lastly a group picture of the squadron These where fun to work on and while I didn't have enough armored sentinel canopy's i had to make build some for the two of them. I don't know how to feel about them. I kind of like them but then again i kind of don't. But there here and there finished. The next thing im going to be working on will be 3 heavy weapons team of 3 missile launchers but i wont be able to work on them for 2-3 weeks as i have to wait on some of the bits i ordered for them.

Today the 113th have just finished training its first Missile launcher heavy weapons team. Carrying the A-34 Anti tank rocket launcher that is exclusively made on the planet ASUS. So here they are First we have the group photo of all the teams together. Next we have a close up of the first team Watchmen Japheth, and First watch Wolfgang Heres Watchmen Teutorigos and First Watch Bui Then lastly we have Watchmen Bilbo, and First Watch Christ And theirs the First heavy weapon squad of the 113th im a little mad with the eyes but these are just the grunts so dont need the extra detail of good looking eyes. But next thing ill be working on is a heavy weapon squad of Lascannons just waiting on my lascannon replacements to come in still.

Hay there ladys and gentlemen today i have the new addition of my lascannon teams. For the planet of Asus Lascannons are a little advanced for the technological bounds of the planet ASUS. So until there top scientific minds can unlock the secrets of such advanced laser technology they use what few lascannons the Imperium can afford to spare to them. Sorry it took so long but due to family issues took alittle longer then normal. That can to train someone to be proficient with a lascannon takes awhile. First theres the group shot of the lascannon squad Next we have First watch Mempeo and watchman Qaawid When the imperial navy was supplying Asus with weapons it could spare from its armourys this ancient lascannon was found within the armourys and given to the 113th. Just alittle elbow grease and a spit shine and its ready to be manned, The gunners here are Watchmen Insane, and First watch Qatho Then we come to our last weapons team Lance watch Dhuuwoch which is the leader of the heavy weapons platoon and his gunner Watchmen Pebbaill So the 113th is getting some serious firepower in its rank but it doesn't end there. Next up we are working on a heavy weapons squad of Autocannons. We are almost done with heavy weapons squads i have one more of heavy bolters and one of mortars. The goal is to have one squad of each so The 113th can be pretty versatile. Well let me know what you guys think.

Nice use of bits on those weapon teams, I especially like the helmet hanging from the lascannon's shield. Simple as can be, but it adds a lot of character, will probably steal that idea for one of my teams

Hay there everyone im here with another update. Its been awhile but im finally finished with my autocannon squad. They have been training hard and here they are fighting for the imperium. I apologize for the photos if there not that good. I have received a new camera and im still getting use to it. Group shot The First of our teams to be shown if First watch Jeannine and watchmen Rodriguez. They are alittle trigger happy. The second of our team is First watch Marie and watchmen Yates. They are some of the top heavy weapon soldiers of there class. And lastly we have First Watch Bunhung and watchmen Xauroilim. They arent the brightest of men but they are loyal none the less, and good with a gun. And theirs today's updates for you guys. Right now im working on a heavy bolter squad and then a Mortar squad and ill be done with my heavy weapons squads and can get to work on the next things for my guard army.

More heavy weapons are always a good thing. Heavy-bolters & Mortars are the coolest heavy weapons the guardsmen have access too in my opinion.

judcottrell- Hay thanks bud ya basing is one of my favorite things about modeling because to me a good basing can make or break models Alright guys today I have the newest addition to the 113th. Fresh out of graduation we have a squad of 3 heavy bolter. These guys where great time to paint but the basing was the first time doing some more advanced techniques so let me know what you guys think of them. First up we have graduation day group photo. Now we have Watchman La'Abbas and First watch Adkins. La'Abbas is known for being alittle unstable when in a fire fight as he is known for releaseing a frenzied salvo down range. Next we have First watch Hsiung and Watchman Elvis. Elvis earned the nickname "The King" which the name was found from ancient writings that was passed down from his rich family. He was conscripted into the imperial guard so has a hard time following orders. Lastly We are left with First watch Santos and Watchman Ilman. They are childhood friends who are inseparable as Santos saved Ilman when they where wee children against a murderous chaos cultist that was rampaging there home town on the planet ASUS. And there we have it all you gamers out there my new addition to my army. My next project i am working on is a squad of three mortars and then im dont making heavy weapon squads. After this that I have 5 Commissars ill be working on. I mean there has to be commissars, its the Imperial guard for emperor sake.... Dont I??? Well until next time let me know what you guys all think of my new squad.

The new squad is amazing. The bases look great and there are interesting conversions. Hsiung looks like he's about to shoot himself in the face, though.
The terrain in the background is brilliant.

Based look good indeed, the gutter running through them is a nice touch.
I also like that you gave all your guys a name & wrote a short backstory for them. It really adds some character to the force.
One small question about the helmets/metal parts though: are they all the same colour or did you paint them differently per squad?

Cheminhaler- thank you bid for you comments and yai didn't know hsiung was about to shoot himself until after I finished painting them lol
Nutty- and thank you to bud. Ya the back story is really just made up on the spot for most models lol. But I like giving things character so I name them and at least a sentience of fluff. And about the helmets it's suppose to be the same. Color but I'm trying different techniques to see how i want there helmets to be. But when the army is altogether you can really tell the difference in techniques.

Hay guys sorry for the long delay. I've been job hunting now that im done earning my college degree. But recently I have been able to complete my squad of Mortars. This will be my last heavy weapons squad I build for my army so I am quite pleased with that. Now since the planet my army is from is a lot like earth now a days with multiple seasons I have decided to make this mortar squad with my army's winter scheme. Now ill probably only make a few squads in winter camo scheme so when me and my gaming group play winter themed missions I can throw my winter theme squads on the board and feel cool doing it. So without farther a due. And Here is a group shot of my Mortar squad in there Winter camo scheme. As you can see its only a minor difference with a little brighter colors for armor and camo. Now time for some close ups this team is the best shots in the units Artillery support. There second day of training some renegade rebels found there selfs lost while trying to infiltrate an ASUS military base. Instead they found themself this teams training lane and In one well aimed shot First watch Fre-Weini and Watchman Juva dispatched the whole unit. Not bad for the second day on the job. First Watch Justin and Watchman Gallagher where put into the Units Artillery support as a punishment due to taking the Co's Jeep for a joy ride. They are still great soldiers so instead of getting rid of them they just moved them from front line combat. P.S. they really hate not being on the front lines where the action is. Lastly theirs Watchmen Patrik and First Watch Frandsen. They joined the Imperial Guard because they have always been interested with traveling across the stars. When there home world came under attack by Chaos there unit where Immediately assigned to stay and defend there home world. Only thing is they are also extremely cowardice but they hid it from the units commissars very well. They joined the Artillery Unit due to not wanting to get close to the enemy. And that is it for this addition of the 113th silverskulls. Now I am currently working on my 5 Commissars one is pretty much done so I only need to finish 4 more. I am very excited to start on these guys because It gives me something different to paint out side of my normal camo scheme. I am also waiting on some weapons to come for my Veterans squad which I will work on after my Commissars. Well as always all you fellow gamer's leave me some comments and ill talk to you guys later. Have a nice day.

Definitely a fan of the double armed sentinels. They look a bit comical but in a good way if that makes sense. Also great idea adding the assault cannon barrel to the end of the heavy bolters. Gives it a much more "killy" feel. Great job, looking forward to more.

Thank you Swalkerfour ya to be thats the name of the game. What can you do to add alittle personality to your model. As for the sentinels i laughed at them after they where finished being built and thought they where an epic fail. But everyone seems to love them im quote pleased with them

Nice work on the Mortars. Are you switching to a wintertheme for your guys? The new bases look a lot colder than the other ones.

Only a few models will be winter themed because of a small winter kill team campaign my gaming group is doing. These mortars are going to be part of the campaign so i wanted to give a few models a winter theme to them. So far only one commissar 3 mortars and a infantry squad will be winter theme
