Much appreciated!
I just got back from holiday so not much to report.
Next up will be a Dominus Tech Priest which I’ll use as an Enginseer.

Looks great! From what I've seen the plastic just look a bit chunkier. The same thing with FW heresy marines vs GW heresy marines

Thanks Walk!
I have to buy a box and see how it goes.
Next I’m going to add some more artillery (can never have enough!)

I hope so too! They’re such a cool looking unit.
They look great on paper (4d6 str5 hits no line of sight needed!)
I’ve got a game coming up in June so I’ll let you know how I get on.
Well I started the Black Templars squad but I can’t settle to it, I guess I’ll finish off the Quadlaunchers instead!!

Hey there! Absolutely love your army Jud, you able to give a quick run down on how you paint them? The grey looks amazing - keep up the good work

Hello.
Thanks very much!
Sure I’ll share the recipe.
Over a black undercoat Mechanicum Standard Grey, wash with Agrax Earthshade, reapply MSG, Dawnstone, Final highlight of Administratum Grey.
Simple as that!
Are you building a Krieg force yourself?

Such an awesome paint job - you really possess some quality skills!
I was at Warhammer World recently and that's where I saw Krieg for the first time. Then started looking online for examples and your army is really the slickest out there! The subtle colours make your army look quite realistic and way more terrifying! Would you be willing to share some of your painting scheme?
I am particularly interested in how you did the green armour of the tanks and the soldiers.

Thanks very much! Sadly I don’t own this army anymore. I was watching it slowly getting damaged in storage and transport so I cashed in before my project was ruined.
I’d be happy to share the recipes with you.
For all the greens I used Vallejo German Field Grey WW2, washed it with Citadel Agrax Earthshade then dry brushed with German Field Grey, I then highlighted with Vallejo Green Grey and gave it a final highlight with Citadel Nurgling Green.
After that I weathered the edges using a sponge with Citadel Rhinox Hide then finished it off by picking out areas with Stormhost Silver.
I hope that helps. Krieg are a very rewarding army to work on and there’s plenty of historical material for inspiration!
Good luck with your journey and please post pics when you’re done!

Thank you so much for the advice. I am sure you made someone very happy with that army.
Did you use an airbrush or a normal brush? Also, I am wondering how you applied the last two highlights of green; is that edge highlighting or are you covering larger surfaces? I am new to tanks so I haven't an good understanding how to highlight larger objects like you have in your army.
I will definitely try this out and post it here once done!

Apologies for not responding sooner but I’ve been away on holiday.
I always use a brush for everything I do, I don’t have space for an airbrush setup.
On tanks I always use a dry brush for highlights (I find that the weathering stage helps to make things look complete)
Good luck with your Krieg and please ask if you have any more questions I’m always happy to help.

Awesome Krieg ! What colors are you using for the base jackets and pants and helmets for your Krieg The Medusa as well what are the base greens you're using for the gun? Would love to know your painting technique!

Hey firenights, first up welcome!
As for my painting thanks!
I always use Vallejo German Field Grey WW2 on helmets and armour, I then give a wash of Agrax Earthshade. Followed by Vallejo Grey Green, and a final highlight of GW Nurgling Green.
As for greatcoats and trousers I base with Mechanicum Standard Grey, first highlight with Dawn Stone and fished with Administratum Grey.
That’s pretty much it.
Thanks for taking an interest and if you would like any advice just ask.
All the best.

I always use Vallejo German Field Grey WW2 on helmets and armour I can't tell you how many spray cans of this I've gone through in the past four or five years...

Haha!
I know right!? I use it in nearly every project I do! That and Rakarth Flesh.
Did you use it on your WW2 Germans?

I'm mainly here to look at pictures and drop likes 😅
Although I am working a on a bloodbowl team. So I'll post a few pictures of that soonish. After not really having the interest or energy for a while I'm slowly getting back into things.

It’s good to have you here nutty!
What team have you been working on?
I used to have a Chaos team back in the day, the “Slaaneshi Spankers!”
I used Daemonettes instead of Beastmen. Loved it back then.

Usually I play with my Dark Elf team "Elf Force One" I'm replacing my converted (and currently broken) models with 3d prints I also ran a chaos team for a league; they seem to have an easier time dealing with my dice rolls
The Dark Elves are more fun to play imho though, even if I roll poorly.
