I’ve been working on some Dark Angels and have finished an Apothecary!

Here’s my inspiration, it’s from the Rogue Trader days!

he looks really good, there's enough black in there to keep him looking like a deathguard marine, and enough bone to set him apart from the regular DA marines. That apron(?) also looks great, a suitable ammount of gore.

I’ve finally managed to complete half of my first team of Kroot Carnivores!

Seriously, the amount of detail on these sculpts is incredible. My personal favourite embellishment is the Kroothound pup!

With the new MFM they look scary lead by a Neurotyrant so you could say I’ve got the bug again!

I’m still working on my neatness but I’m happy with how these turned out.

I have continued with my Urban scheme though I used the T’au Ochre more to depict the ranks of the team.

The inspiration behind the colour scheme on the Lone Spear is the Great Crested Newt. Hence the yellow belly.

Yeah, you’re right, GW really nocked it out of the park with the new Kroot range. The tribal aesthetic really suits my scruffy painting style!

Well, it’s been ages since I had an update for my Nids. Time to put that right!

I’ve finished my Norn Emissary.

I was at first a little disappointed with the size at first but once it was done and mounted on the base I thought it was a little more imposing.

The kit was a joy to build and paint and I’m very happy with the results.

Well I’ve been playing a lot of Spacemarine 2. (Great game!)

This has given me the bug to paint some boys in blue!

It’s about time I finished them as they've been sat in a crate for far too long.

With this in mind I’ve painted some Aggressors for my Ultramarines:

On other news I’ve made some more progress on my Ultramarines!

I’ve completed the Terminator Captain from the Leviathan box.

My intention now is to finish everything I have for the Ultramarines! So expect lots more Ultra updates in the coming weeks!

Well I’ve finished a unit of Sternguard Veterans for the Ultramarines!

I really wanted to double down on the Greco-Roman aesthetic for these chaps.

With that in mind I bought some upgrade kits from Archie’s Forge (which were amazing) and went at it!

That upgrade kit works well for Ultramarines, it makes them stand out without being over the top?

What's the next project? Are you buying into the latest T'au craze and getting 250 kroot hounds?

Hahaha!! I’m not that guy!! I’ve gone off the boil with T’au already.

I still have a ton of Ultramarine models to do but my next project will be Krieg once more!

Just can’t resist those little rebreather covered faces! Especially when they’ll be in plastic (thus cheaper)

That said I’ll probably do some work on my Dark Angels at some point as a side project.
