They have about 6 layers of blue from a black base.. was trying for a new wet blending technique... now I sit here today watching the old Transformers from the 80s while backing up more movies and painting up some more gobbos..

Wow it took alot longer than I thought to get my images up but here it goes. A few of my finished but unbased models plus "The Beast" (Leman Russ Battle Tank)








Ill have some better quality images up soon My entire army minus 3-4 models Most of it is uncompleted and even the most painted models arnt really close. The upper tanks will look more like the beast the tank with the monkey but I have to darken the rust a little bit more.

Ok. Now it's getting time for me to claim at least one or two points.

The CSM was just the base and I worked abit on his cloak. But nothing big.
The Skaven Warlord was just the tail, base, and the complete trophy rack.

Went from black basecoat to what you see here.. just have to give it a shot of matte clearcoat and let it sit out overnight to dry.. I think they turned out nicely.. and will fit nicely in the rest of my army..

I will try to get better shots tomorrow when the sun it out.. seems they are a bit dark and what not..

So more to come as I get time.. family things tomorrow and game on wednesday..

3 Clanrats and some better pics from the Warlord. The Clanratswere mostly assembled at the beginning. I only had to add the tails and shields. All Clanrats were not primed.








I guess I'll have to take some better photos tomorrow with better light as well...

knight: 4.5 for the clanrats - I wouldn't mind better pics to determine a more accurate quality painting bonus but if you're good with 1.5 for the 3 as bonus points then we'll leave it at that. lets do .5 for the trophy rack & tail. how's .2 for the base and touches on the cloak of the chaos marine? total is 5.2 for you if you're good with this scoring. I'm gonna add it now so if you have no objections it'll be logged.

gris, how bout 3 for the dwarfs, that fair? (p.s. I really love that bronze helmet on the one dwarf).

3 is golden mate.. I am good with whatever poins scale you want to give me.. and the broze came out much better than I thought it would.. was going for dirty silver actually But I think i did too many washes with watered down brown inks.. I basically did the whole model in base coat colors.. then brushed flesh and chestnut ink over it then touched up the highlights..

Will be a slow week though for more entries here though from me.. between work and the wife's family means little to no painting.. maybe friday.. but no more till later next week unless I get lucky..

@fish.. why do you want to call a showdown mate? besides no one is 10+ points ahead of the pack.. which i think is a requirement for it.. and since you are so close to me in points i cant call a showdown even if i could though I wouldnt.. let it get some more momentum and get into the really tigh corner of needing to get some models done in a very short time period to make things interesting.. like a few guys did last time.. was a nice feeling to have to paint up almost 50 points.. in a week and then reverse the showdown on him afterwards...
