Obviously I was playing too much 'World in Conflict' recently. Inspired me to do some IG Marines in Cold War camouflage:     And a groupshot:  All in all I'm quite happy with the result now and I think you will see a lot more of'em in the future ^_^ What do you think of them? Cheers CC |

Big fan of the Camo scheme, how long does it take to paint?

Hey guys,
thanks for your kind replies. I think I'll be doing a tutorial soon. In the meantime I'll be painting the first squad and can show more pics at the weekend then..

a) They are beautiful.
b) Are they "bulked up" ?
The cadian shock troops look like they're in Carapace armour and just as big as the Storm Trooper - is it an optical effect of the camo work?

As requested: Black undercoat Face with -Tanned Flesh - Dwarf Flesh -Elf Flesh Scope lens -Mechrite Red -Blood Red -Blazing Orange  Uniform& Bodyarmour -Knarloc Green  Gloves, Pouches, Canteen, Webbing etc. -Russian Uniform (Vallejo)  Over all Black Wash (Chaos Black very heavily watered down), to create shading   Light camo stripes in -Green Grey (Vallejo)   Dark camo stripes on -Cam. Medium Brown (Vallejo)   Black camo stripes -Chaos Black+ Black Grey (Vallejo) 3:1   Bayonet Blade -Oily Steel (Vallejo) Subtle highlightes for everything black (Rifle, Imperial Eagles, Belt Buckle, Canteen Lid, etc) -Black Grey (Vallejo) Squad markings, base, done!   Took me just under an hour and imho certainly tabletop standard. Camo rulez! Cheers CC |
