Yes, and most people take enough of them to deal with, at most, 4 tanks. A full 1500 point armoured company will include upwards of eight.

how much do you actually know about the best way to win a war basaliskian, as you seem to be a meatgrinder sort of person in the sense throw enough men at it and you will win, rather than a tactitian.

The best way to win a war is to terrorise your enemy into submission.

Smart bombs on stratigic locations and importent leaders, fabrics and supply depots then blitz krieg

Straight into a defensive line. Blitzkrieg is only useful if you have room to maneuvere, and a demoralised enemy.

wich you will have if you take out their leaders and supplies on forehand, drop in airborne units to secure stratigic positions. but of course, no plan survives contact with the enemy

not to mention that no matter what tactic that you use in a game does not reflect real life combat.

Extend the rapidfire range by six inches and the long range fire range by nine inches, the heavy weapons by twelve inches and the Russ, Lisk and so on (ordanace) by double their ranges, and then we're talking realism.

but then again you would have to figth your batlles on the local parkinglot, not inside.
but if you are going to win a war, you gather all the fast tanks you can and raid the enemy hell before charging in with all the heavy stuff

well, thats tactics yes, but I was meaning the very basic way of how to win a war. It is keeping your mens morale up, while forcing the oponent to give up. Yes you can do it with meatgrinder tactics, but that creates a huge loss of life on your side, and thus, your own morale will fall. so you need to be smart, as people said, take out prime locations that will demoralise the enemy. and speed, not essential.

ILG: I got a rumor for you. information: I'm not a rumor ILG: Yes you are.
The rumor is, there may or may not be a large release box. As they weren't cost effective. Will get confirmation this weekend.

Hell, They already took out the ruins in our box and still charged us the same price. So cost effectiveness can shove it up its collective bum...

Drop Pods and Tactical squads are worth taking. trust me, I have used them. A Terminator squad Drop Podding behind your lines or into the middle of it will ruin your plans....
