WILLEM: I seem to be following you on some of these threads and Ive got to say you have me a little worried. As I've stated as a former police officer and now a full time member of the united States Army, Id like to advise against building what you may perceive to be functional weapons or armor. Its all good and fun to make stuff that looks the part, but please don't risk your life in some homemade body-armor. I promise you It will fail. also when it comes to respirators/ gas-masks they are all rated for different things, be-careful what you inhale when wearing one. a lot of injuries happen in the states (mainly chemical burns to the lungs) due to civilians thinking that the gas-mask they bought at the army surplus store was good for whatever contraption they were cooking in the backyard. I only bring this stuff up because you seem like a descent kid, I don't want to see you get in trouble, or worse hurt...
ltericwatts: Sorry to rant in your section, but I have a feeling that the exact same thing youd say. as usual your stuff is stunning. great job!!!!

Alright Im just saying be careful that all, sometimes, the way you come across in some of your threads its hard to get your meaning. Id much rather see you safe then hurt. These forums are places to make friends, and one thing friends do is look out for each other... so take this as me watching you back alright... Better safe then sorry...

just an observation.. those filters on your mask look whacked, might be time to change them.. if you use them for actual practical purposes, painting, spraying, sanding ect.

A little new item now in service in the german-cadian army ;D I pimp one of my M36 standard rifle into a kasrkin HE las gun with E-backpack. The backpack with communication unit and an adapted part on the left side of the weapon... and I change the flammer in little details, other writings on it, and now is a glass on the pressure meter.. And now i know for a fact that high goth is in fact German.... Great stuff! you know the flamethrower is one weapon im glad the US armys done away with. While killing with bullets may not be the most humane thing in the world I think fire would be the worst way to go....

Yes, the most armys of the world have removed the weapon in this style. But the weapons from the air still using things like phospor or kerosin-bombs....is not really better....the german army use an Weapon in the time I served, called "Handflammpatrone" it shot one grenade over 70 meters and it burst in an inferno, I think 14meters in diameter War is nuts in all forms....BUT.....play and display that, makes fun.... Thanks to all.... Thinking about an targeting system on the side of the helmet... But now time is running....only five weeks to the biggest operation since the founding of the squad.... We get the chance to take part on an military vehicle event on a army training range...we take part with the complete equip under realistic conditions. Means like an army camp, only tents, water and surplies only by ourself.... But on the place there is an M48tank, an wheeled Fox ,HMMVE´s and many other imperial assistance ;D I stay there for 6 Days... Greets Watts ;D

The pics i get are to small to see how this plasma back is looking...im still gether ideas for a Plasma Gun.

your wife is involved with it too watts? it's great when they get involved, eh? i love the stromtrooper hell gun You bet on it. Imperial Fleet is always watching that our suplies never run out...always thankful when his wife is around. She did a great work on preparations for the upcoming Quests... Ah and right now it seems that we are getting a new combat medic in our squad. she did some serious LARP play and is driving as a first responder, a real medic so definitly a real good addition to our squad....since we lost the old medic But since im also real new to the squad only the Lt. could tell all... But im real crazy if it comes to the designing of the real 40k Weapons and combining them with special effects or electrical parts... Maybe in the future you will see here some special edition helmets with communication arrays, plasma weaponry with light (thanks to the idea of the Kommissar but we drive it a little further) maybe a newer flamer with some smoke and all that other crazy stuff....and dont forget the Elysian parts the Lt. is working on...we have such a short time but so many things we would do... So lets see how this is working out. Cpl. Zim out
