That vox is certainly impressive, I commend you for your continued efforts! I am getting back into the making nad modifying of things into various 40K props as well, though I am using plastics and composites rather than steel... I know just how warm it can get lugging around 70 lbs of kit in a crowded con and I have gone on to lighter things.

A hard working day, but very succesfull....not finished but there is only a little of fine-tuning.. brushed...... All Antennas mounted.. Complete with all parts to check up With the carapace armour of the operator. @panzerhauptmann: Thanks, thats to much honour to to only an metal worker who gets some of his ideas real.... there are enough people on this planet which only talk about what they want to do....if its possible....I´ll do it. I do it for me, for my fun...and for people which like the hobby in this way, and people like you and there enthusiasm if they see my pics... @commisssarbob: I know what you mean, but its not my politic...all squad members are reanactors and not cosplayer. If we want to be guardsmen, we want to suffer like guardsmen...call it crazy, but its the only way for me... We test our armour on the shooting range.... We attack hills in the heat of summer in full equipment and the bajonet on the weapon...ok, at the top of the hill we had all an breakdown and need an ´medic....but that is not the point....to do it (with the 68 pounds of equip) , is the point Thats imperial life.... ;D Heat is not an argument for people which are wearing gambeson and heavy armour at an siege warfare action on an sunny summer weekend.... ;D Greets Watts

Oh..I forget....working on the house....and restyle the garden...damm´ned Greets Watts

Yeah, Watts is my hero. As a Civil War reenactor, I've learned a thing or two about working on my own kit, and being creative with uniforming, but dang, there's a level of talent in his work that I'll never have.

@ogryn Crazy! : Very elegant.... What is that, bolt ammo?? But is not really a weapon for bajonet fighting ( I mean in real scale..)

You're right though, I haven't ever tested it so I don't know. I never thought I could do needlework either, but I learned fast the first time my uniform trousers ripped when we were skirmishing dismounted. Nowadays I pop on buttons, mend and patch tears and sewed on my corporal stripes like a champ. A friend of mine and I are even working on reproducing some US Army arsenal sack coats that our historical unit wore. Anyway, great stuff on your end. Keep it coming.

Sister Galatea(M.I.A) Lord Graenis: "I think the prject after elysian should be krieg" No, krieg is not my favorite army...I´m follower of modern warfare and armys. The outfit and the weapon style is not really my taste. Only this twin heavy stubber on wheels is cool... I do´nt know why, maybe that reason is, I´m from germany and in every historical book you can see this outfit in real ...no, I have no fun to play this... Another reason is, in that outfit there are no events possible on army training ranges...because of the political correctness... Greets Watts

Project closed.... ;D Taken pics with my own carapace, not with the operators armour... View from the backside........ Sideview...it is not the helmet for this use, only for testing... I use german lanuage on it... And now, I know...the IG do´nt need commissar to punish....the soldiers which failed should carry the radio equip... Very satisfied.......Watts

I have to admit I'm lost for words... Fantastic is pretty much all I can say. I seriously admire your dedication to a project that brings the hobby alive. There are too many wonderful things in this log to comment on individually but I love the Vox especially. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing you start work on a warlord titan some day! Amazing stuff!
