I think if they do a new dex Adeptus Mech would be super awesome. I think it would be a cool idea, but what would they have? Titans? Knights for Heavy Support? Armies of servitors for troops? Then again, finding out the answers to these questions would be great.

they would be like orgens with rily good armor saves an a rily good wepon skill
my brother thinks that there should be an un-dead race

my brother thinks that there should be an un-dead race Necrons are as close to undead as the mainstream range gets. Nurgle also has plague zombies. The only new races I'd support the creation of are the exodites and the heretics, and only after the DE get their new codex.

Skitarii are reminiscent Manipular Legions, with their decorations anyway.

You already have the peace-loving battle hippies in the Tau. This is an amazing statement. Break it down: Peace-loving. Battle hippies. Battle hippies! Oh, the possibilities...

I want space lizardmen. They have been part of the SciFi since early 50th atleast. I demand them. But to be more serious. It is good that they redo the DE codex. There are a few old DE players with armies that will be getting some love again. And they will lure some new (like me) into the army if it is good. Personally i hope, but do not belive, that they will start releasing small army specific codexes again. Like codex armageddon and so on. The first one should be "the elysians".

I'm thinking that it would be fun to take a Commissar Training Squad for a spin.
However, as far as I'm aware, there are no defined stats or point values for Commissar Cadets, and even if I were to fudge some, with commissars being $12 a piece, the ten person squad would cost $120. I don't think I'll be trying it any time soon.

Hrud seems like a good idea. They've been around, and then there were these massive fur-beasties, and some Loxatl.
Codex: Random Aliens from the 3rd Ed Rulebook sounds like a good idea. Or maybe Codex: Traitor Guard.

Y'know... that's kinda true. And man-bear-pig as an HQ choice. Comes w/ Al Gore in his retinue. Works like Creed and Kell...

WOOHOO for the elysians thing, I love em and would build an army of em' if it weren't for the GINORMOUS price tag swiftly bringing this thread back on topic I think that the next race they will introduce for 40K HAS to be adeptus mech, I looked at a poll on BOLS and like 40% of the people voted that they would like to see an ADmech codex. It was the largest majority on the whole poll of like 10,000 people.

Forge World: The Guard field massed parachutists, badass gasmasked killers and super-elite alien hunters...
GW: Yeah!
6 Years later:
GW: Actuallyt, since all the marine players won't stop complaining, it turns out that you aren't allowed to be badass anymore unless you've got power armour and no balls.
Forge world: *Splutter*

i personally would like to see GW finish up the new Necrons and DE codex's before they think about adding any new armies.
what i see the problem is, they make so many armies that it takes them a 10 year loop to make new books. remember when the Tyranid codex came out? its now considered old and people want a revision... personally i find the Tyranid codex fine atm.
overall its either make both Inquisition one codex or dont add a 40k race.
