I was bored last night and decided to kill time by reading about the various Space Marine Primarchs. Then I started wondering what other people thought on this subject.
So here they are, the 18 known Primarchs of the Space Marines along with their respective Legion. Pick your favorite and then explain why you chose him. No answer is wrong!
I chose Corax for my first choice since I play Raven Guard as my second army, and love their fluff and combat style.

Iron Within, Iron Without.
I'm going with Peturabo. The similarities between the Iron Warriors and the siege regiments of the Guard intrigue me, and I like how they seemed to be kept at arm's length, as if they weren't propper Marines.

Gentlemen, the correct answer is Leman Russ.
Heh, actually I like Rogal Dorn, for his post heresy Imperial Fists, black armor with yellow trim? sweet, and embarking on the first crusades against the no good traitors and refusing to adobt the chapter system until doing so on his own terms, awesomest standard codex Primarch.

Sanguinus, he offered himself so that the Emperor could destroy horus.

Agreed, Sanguinus ftw.
Anyone who gave the galaxy Astares Vampires is a-okay in my book.
Off-topic: Hey Reds, how's El'Rahemo coming along?

Roboute Guilliman.
I am not that big on Ultra Marines, but I like Guilliman's fluff. While other chapters always left desolate wastelands, Guilliman stayed, and rebuilt the worlds that he had conquered into paradises and utopias. He is also the WRITER of the codex. But in general, I like the fact that, from what I read, he cared about his people, and after winning a campaign, left men behind to rebuild that world.

I like Leman Russ cause of his relationship to the space puppies of Fenris. That, and he actually beat the Emperor at something (albeit, drinking and eating apparently).

I voted for Konrad Kurze, but it was a hard match between him, Perturabo and Rogal Dorn.

I retract my vote and change it to Dorn.
'Primarch – Progenitor, to your glory & the glory of Him on Earth!'
I must remain loyal to my chapter and him on earth

Alicia Dominica. No, she's not a primarch, but she's the equivalent for the Sisters

I didn't vote. If I WAS going to vote? I would probably say Sanguinius, due to him being the only one with a personality worthy of being made an Imperial Saint (which he is indeed, unlike the other primarchs).

Alpharius
Him and his boys had to make the incredibly hard decision to choose the bad side to fight for the good side. What a tough road to hoe.
I like their rather non-invasive techniques too.
Dorn would be next as his methodology is thoughtful and technical. Sort of similar to I.G. and he is not whiny like Perturabo.

My favourites are the two who 'went missing'. You can tell they just took one look at the 40k universe and thought NO. I'm not living here! Find me a way into the eldar webway so I can run across time and space. Maybe retire on some backwater alien world with fruit juice rivers.
