Yes, my minion, work out the details while I work on the big picture. Minon, eh? Be careful, or Dunbar may "accidently" put a round through Melissia's Rhino... Also, Dur Kommissar was on the Vanquisher, I thought. It's still a ways away from the fort, sniping the gate and the gun towers. The Demolisher just crashed through the front gate. @kai: Remember you are hitting the REAR gate, which has yet to be breached. The FRONT gate just went down. @helmian: Have your Astartes move in behind the Demolisher whenever you're ready. Reds

Then assume he was firing at the grots taht were still ontop of the walls, essentially sweeping across the crenelations.

Kai, remember, the rear gate is NOT open, and you can't open it from the outside (otherwise it wouldn't be a very good fortress). We have to wait for RT's people to fast rope in and take the gatehouse.

Okay, now should I enter the rear gate? Or should I just sit back, since my objectives are already finished? (Not complaining)

That's a platoon of Reds' soldiers coming down with her, mind you. Others may join in the genestealer hunting as the elevator is sent back up with the untainted humans, the psyker testing each one of them to make sure that they remain untainted.

Technically, It's Envoy's guys. Van an his command squad are with them because he's taken it as his personal responsibility to look after the Psyker until the Rogue Trader enters the fort.

There will be no tyranids showing up if we kill all of the genestealers instead of letting them escape and infect more Orks (the Orks are doing their best to kill all the genestealers, and a damned good job at it too-- the genestealers not in the keep are almost wiped out).

Because I'm dealing with so much, trying to roleplay the Orks and other enemies, I'm handing off the Imperial Recon force to whoever wants to control them. What they are is in the first page, as usual. I'm keeping the Sororitas because they wil be mostly busy with the genestealers in the keep and thus not too much of a hassle. Other than that, I will be roleplaying through Lord General Grigori and Citizen Telena Elukai.

I might as well take them, since my guys seem to be running the show. I can always hand them off to someone who wants to jump into the RP. With your approval, of course. If you have them settle down in the fort, I'll take over from there.

The "NPC" companies will of course remain NPC, essentially holding the fort. The sentinels and Mechanized Platoon however I will leave in your capable hands.
You're basicly running the details of the show, while I point you in the general direction that we need to go. You're a LOT better at details than I am.

Okay, word from the Powers That Be is that we'll be seeing an Ork Armoured Company soon. Here's the details.
-50 Trukks --Averaging 10 Orks each
-30 Battlewagons --Averaging ~20 Orks each
-10 Looted Leman Russ Battle Tanks
-1 Battlefortress --Big Mek and 17 'Ard Boyz
-1 Looted standard-pattern Baneblade
Plan to follow in a second.

Is this going to be like Kursk, Agincourt, or Desert Storm?

Here's how we deal with the Armoured Company Ignatius, since you're got a lot on your plate, your guys have "light duties", guarding the fort and having your arty back us up. Helmian, you can go into the depths of the fort with the Sisters of Battle to clean out the Genestealers. Nicholasakira, your Eldar can help back up Envoy or my guys in the ambush. Kai, your snipers can join us too, but keep the rest of your Company in the fort. RT, Envoy, see below. Here's the details... Envoy and my armour will set up in a open ended "V" shape, supported by our infantry. They'll have tarps and cammo netting, and hopefully be dug into dunes a bit so they're hard to spot. I'll have Sents or Sallies bait the Orks into rushing into the trap. Then the Arty in the fort hits them, guided by observers. RT's Gunships will make an attack run in the confusion, smashing the armour at the head and rear of the column. As soon as the Airstrike hits, the armour opens up, crucifying them in a crossfire. Vanq hit the Baneblades, Russes hit the other Russes, Exterminators and Eradicators hit light armour. Infantry and Chimeras suppress the Ork Boyz. Sents will make hit and run attacks on the front and rear of the column, keeping the Orks contained. RT continues his attack runs, and the Arty keeps hitting the column until nothing is moving. Then RT can napalm the whole thing just to be sure. I'll have recon elements running around behind our forces, to make sure they don't get flanked. @nicholasakira: Well, which one does it sound like to you? Reds

Do you think I could have my waveserpent make hit-and-run attacks during their approach?
That's more like Cannae but without the elephants.
