Well you're in Commorragh! On vacation?
Even if the dread get released it's just one kit. It has no bearing on the DE at all. We got promised end of 2010 ( I think!). It's besides the point - the Kabal of the bloody hand have promised to 'unleash the haemonculous' on GW HQ unless they keep to that deadline.

about a year from now seems like a good time...
I oughta be a master of the current codex by then.
So by the time the new one comes out I'll ether raise hell or be seriously lost...
Alright, time to start gaming it up with my Dark Eldar.

2012: Codex: Food People, Codex: GamesWorkshop staff, Codex: Internet memes, Codex: Spess Mehrens (again).
Unfortunately, those seem more likely than DE. Honestly, a new DE codex is all that is needed to get me back into 40k minis.

It's a wonder GW hasn't figured out that people huy what ever is the flavor of the month. Which, should be a huge reason to go ahead and do a DE codex. Just for the immediate sales on release.

... Codex: Gamesworkshop Staff... Do I have to pay money for that one, or will it be a .pdf?

WEll ill tell you what i bet if GW made a new DE codex and some new minis there sales would sky rocket. Next thing i have to say is my bets are when they release the codex it will be secretly leaked out in the shadow of the new space marine chapter codex, The Emporers pointy sticks........

He has a beard now (Jervis), and sunglasses. I think he's in disguise. Maybe his special rules can be 'Master of Disguise', and 'Always has an Opinion', and 'Never let me write the DA codex, or else someone else may have to rewrite it. And then we can make a fortune on that one, eh, Rick? Maybe we can retire in the Costa del Sol*wink, wink*'.

If Juan Diaz or Jes Goodwin sculpted them, I'll dropkick every army I have onto ebay for a DE army. I've hated all the topknots and pistol-shootin' 'n' fist-pumpin' poses on the DE. I've never liked any of Chris Fitzpatrick's sculpts.
Oh yeah, the ork deff dred, looks nice I guess.
Makes me want to buy another Valkyrie.

You don't have to use a single top knot...nor do you need to use the pistols...every warrior in my army is wearing a helmet and carries a rifle with bayonet.

Well the rumours were that Jes Goodwin is resculpting the entire line. I doubt they would change their minds and give us more Smurf codexes. If they keep redoing codex Smurfs I'm just going to die of boredom. There are only so many angles you can look at Ultras from before you start going psycho and biting sheep. Also I've gone off collecting Smurfs. They are boring to paint - I've only ever totally painted, highlighted and varnished one assault smurf in my entire 33 years of existence. Painting a model one colour is dull.
The thing about DE warriors is that they're like Marmite - you either love it or hate it. I like the slimness and they were quite fun to glue together. Other people totally hate the DE warrior kit with a passion.

Jervis may immediately attempt to cover up any ruthless business decisions made by GW. This may be used on any Warhammer player within 12". Both roll a D6 and add their leadership to that. If Jervis wins, the player may not complain for the remainder of the game. If the player wins, all models in his/her army has Preferred Enemy: Games Workshop Staff and Space Marines.

Propaganda Minister : Now, sir! I'd just like to say that on behalf of the Saul Zaentz film corporation, Games Workshop (TM), Space Marines (TM), and the Immortal Emperor Rick Priestley that the aforesaid actions were a space saving neccessity.. Would you like to take a look at this <<censored by order of Emperor Priestley>> that won't come out until 2020?
