I would hope they'd have more than one person working on such projets yes (also it's mentioned in lots of places that, although a single person gets credit at the front of the book, they are in fact head of the team on that project). But I suspect they are given lots of other tasks to be getting on with at the same time as designing a new codex. I'm sure most of us could sit in a room with a group of 40kers for a day and come up with loads of stuff (actually sounds insanely tempting... just think what me and you could have done with the Punisher Req ), but thats pretty far from what Codex designers would be allowed to do... The higher education process is designed to damage brains... Didn't you know?

Must be why no one will hire me... Too "educated." I feel bad for all the people who went on to get their master's degrees...

DE are never coming, face it. Not that i have anything against them, but GW been using them as a way to get us excited for half a decade.
Seriously, if they're gonna release them, they might as well do it now, while everybody still gives a damn.

It is beginning to look a little bleak on the Dark Eldar front... I sometimes lose faith and worry that they'll just let them stagnate, getting cash from the diehard fans and then eventually fade them out like Squats. I don't want that to happen and I think it would be a mistake on Workshops behalf... but... well bleak bleak bleak

*hugs her DE codex* No missing pages! 10 years and still going strong.
Guess all we can do is to wait and see.

Is the Dark Eldar codex still available in Workshop stores by the way? My independant store doesn't seem to stock it anymore, and it's one of the few I don't own.

I saw the DE codex a couple of weeks ago, in my local. My copy has been signed by Lelith Hesperax, with the blood of a hundred virgin megastore workers, and it's worth millions. It's still on offer...

The Webway, or "returns to Commoragh"?

The Webway, or "returns to Commoragh"? Anything that "returns to Commorragh" cannot be a virgin.

The Webway, or "returns to Commoragh"? Anything that "returns to Commorragh" cannot be a virgin. Unless, of course, it's a happy feeling. Then it's both a virgin and creepy to boot!

I no longer care about "as early as." I want to know the worst case scenario with the DE codex. When's the latest date?

Going by how quickly they release codexes and considering the ones that are left to do (plus adding one more Vanilla Marine codex redo ) I think I put the worst case scenario at about 21 months from the release of Codex Nids... that's ignoring the other worst case scenario - there won't be a DE codex...

They don't look too dumb... Quite Orky infact - certainly nice to finally get a plastic version of the Ork Dread that actually comes with a reasonable variety of weapon options (and the Killa Kanz are priced really well in my opinion) - but I certainly prefer the old one for some reason... something about the new one struck me as... too toy like... though it has grown on me.
No apologies needed prilla - we've just kind of... moved towards the other items for the release... "evolution of thread" you might call it...

The marine plastic range is huge now. Even Templars and Dark Angels already have the funky new high-tech triple injection mould sprues, so I can see GW concentrating on xenos or other stuff in the future.
