I like the space marine arm on the guardsman. It actually looks pretty good. Great work so far, chap.

Here is my tabletop quality Sergeant that you know and love! With his giant sword and arm of a Space Marine!!! Here is... Billy Mays! Billy Mays here for Big Ass Sword on Fire! Tired of that Chainsword always getting clogged? That Bayonet not slicing like it used too? Not anymore. With Big Ass Sword on Fire! You can kill it all! Heretics! Witches! Even those pesky Xenos. Just a squeeze and you can kill your enemies with ease! I love Billy Mays so I'm not hating or making fun. I didn't mean to make him look like Billy. I just gave him the beard, and it ended up that way. I got a forward shot, but my new (old but recently discovered) Video Camera decided it didn't like them. Old Tech never works the way you want it to. Anyway there you go, I figure All I really "Need" to do is paint his base. I might come back and give him some closer attention, but this is good enough for me and my tabletop. C&C... or I'll haunt you in the Night! R.I.P Billy Mays! I imagined Billy Mays saying all that, and i cracked up!!!! Pure genious

Do you mean arms? Probably Scout ones as I don't think I ca get Guardsman arms to work in a standard fashion, but I might use Guardsman ones for more action less shooting like poses.

Hey does anyone have tips or tricks on using Army Painter Color Primer, the white I've been using just leaves a dusty residue and makes the model very unsavory to handle and look at without paint and washes to cover it up!
I could use your assistance on this issue.
Played a game last week, killed a force of the new wolves at an 800pt game... I think I mainly did this for two reasons. His extremely expensive Terminator squad in a drop pod dropped right off the board! and my Battle Cannon pie plate took out 7 of one of his Blood Claw squads. After that I just had to gun him down! So thank you scatter dice for this victory.
I also realized that I at least need to get all my guys in the grey and Yellow, at the least!
So I don't want to screw up more models if I have you guys at my disposal!! So help ol' sgtNACHO out will ya'?
Thanks!

Hi, for your primer problem, it can occurs when the spray is not enough shaken (at least 1 minute) and the distance you spray your mini could be too long, try to spray them at about 30 or 40 cm. and preferably spray 2 thin coat than a thick one. You don't necesseraly have your mini paint in a pure white, a thin coat is enough to make the paint sticks correctly.
I don't know army painter primer spray (I use GW ones) but should be the same.
So in short : shake well and don't be too far from your minis and it will be ok !
Cheers Vince

Hey everybody, I'm working on the Bullet Magnet its gotten its basecoat of yellow and I will say, it is "very" yellow! I'm thinking of paining some areas of the Battle cannon barrel yellow, and putting a little magnet on it. I would show you guys pics, but my camera is dead I hope to get some pics in by tonight, or at the least tomorrow morning. Also! I looked up a color primer spray tutorial on Army Painter. Mixed that with what the can said and sprayed away. Lovingly my tank wasn't rough and bumpy!!! There was a slight residue, but nothing I couldn't handle and painting over it was a breeze!!! I think the main things to remember shake for 2 minutes, It helps! Stay close to the model, 20cm at most use steady stream Thank you guys for the support, and lets hope that camera charges quickly!!

Holy balls, that's yellow. And that's a washing machine. And those are mold lines on the heavy bolter.

Well it isn't quite as yellow anymore. I did some work and got it washed and dirtied up. It is "very dirty yellow" now. Once I got it completed I'll make it my duty to inform you all in the form of beutiful pictures

Alright!!! Time for some pics. I decided to take a group pic of all my painted guardsmen. Painted meaning they have at least the yellow and gray on them. My camera dies mid picture taking, so I'll try to get that charging and finish my "photo op." A few shots This is Tank 407, nice and dirty from a long arduous convoy through the dirt plains of Gamorahha. The tank commander Lt. "Frizz" Leopold, laughs at the "Bullet Magnet" callsign for yellow tanks. So a large magnet was painted on his Battle Cannon. Comment please With sugar on top?

It's less yellow...
I like the hash marks for kills. I do kinda feel like it needs a splash of some other color, though.

I like the upright HK. I also like those HWT bases. I do not like mold lines.

I would never have dreamt about adding yellow to the Guard But it looks nice! Kinda makes me sad I went for camo But not that sad, as I enjoy my colors. (or lack thereof) The idea behind it does appeal to me, yellow might be like a holy colour on their homeworld I take it?
