I like them, and the choice of colors is different, but I think it turned out well

Thanks that was the effect I was looking for, basing it off of a few marines with a similar fear of plasma. I did that mainly because my battleforce box gave me some Chaos bits instead of a 3rd set of Cadian Hvy. Weapon gunners.
I got some new Army Painter Base Primer Matt White. That should hopefully make my guardsmen look alot better.
Also once I go out and purchase a Cadian Squad box I can make me some Carapace armor Veterans. (I bought some SM Scout bits along with my spray.)
Please comment! thanks guys.

the battleforce box gave you chaos bits? call GW now and complain, they will send you the Heavy weapon guys free of charge. for what ya paid for that box you deserve it. i have had to do it a few times, its fairly painless and easy and their staff is nice.

hmmm... your right lol, Why not right? Thanks yeah I'll call them tomorrow I think. I never thought of GW actually helping anyone though. It doesn't match their money lovin' grubby greedy hands image. They need to stop helping people out I guess Thanks.

The yellow surprised me, but works well. Nice work.
And make sure you call GW on their contents.

Yep, although they're expensive, their customer service is second to none. Oh, nice models by the way, the colour scheme works suprisingly well!

Good call on GW you guys, the call only took like 3 minutes and the dude was chill.
Now I can have some Heavy Weapon teams with guys on all of them. Speaking of which, what are good heavy weapons for a below 1000 game? Like 800 pts? I've only played one game so far as guard and I used Lascannon, AutoCannon, and Missile launcher. I din't know if it worked out that great. Any hints on strong Hvy. Weapons would be appreciated.
I could also post my list for that game if you'd like.

It really depends on what army you're facing. I'd go with missile launchers most of the time but that is completely my personal preference

Good Question
Part of my reasoning for the paintjob was its stark contrast, Yellow is powerful and then you add the Urban Camo to really bolster that effect. Another part was that I heard yellow was a %#&%* to paint, so I wanted to hone my skills. Lastly, because I wanted something vastly different then my Blood angels.
Now the In-Universe fluff is something like this.
The Meridian Guard are a proud and bold lot. They paint their armor in a bright yellow contrast, yet wear Camouflage fatigues underneath that armor. Many other Imperial Guard forces see absolutely no point in wearing such armor using the very common phrase "Why Camo? Ya' can't hide in Yella'." However the Meridian Guard don't care, their front line troops are in the fight because they want to, not forced into conscription, or urged into service. When Meridia calls, her populace answer willingly. So they show their willingness to fight by wearing such bright colors. Not all Meridian forces wear the Yellow so proudly, many units with more stealth related missions (Snipers, Scout Sentinels etc. etc.) wear almost little or none of the famous yellow. These units are usually referred to as "Sneakys" Also the Tanks of the Meridian Guard usually favor the camouflage, not to hide, but seeing as Tanks are too valuable an asset to stick out like a sore thumb. Many (now deceased) Tank commanders used almost completely Yellow tanks, which Meridian forces liked to call "Bullet Magnets."

Chaos Power weapon, I just used a Chaos arm, so that one sergeant has a giant armored arm of doom!
I figure he is the brash, hard ass, mano y mano Sergeant. while the other is the Order barking, "Follow me boys, Eat bolt pistol, Sergeant.
I might have one Bullet magnet tank, although considering murphy's law I'm sure everything that's shot at it will miss!
Bought a Cadian box, and currently working on my men. Hopefully I'll have more to show you soon.

Guys sorry to say I've hit a small wall at the moment.
I attempted some spray painting yesterday and unfortunately its too humid to even think about spraying. So now my unarmed veterans must sit in simple green waiting for the weather to return to livable conditions.
This happened with one of my squads as well but i'm going to try and attempt to fix them without paint removal. Wish me luck.

They remind me of the soldiers from Haze. They're good. Do you prime them white?

I can definitely attest to that. I ended up getting a Nork Deddog blister about a year ago. Problem was, he didn't come with his head. Called up GW 8 months later (Yeah, I was delayed) and got a brand new Nork Deddog. BTW...anyone need a headless Nork? Oh, and the army's looking good too!

Hello everyone, sorry for the lack of updates, been dealing with other things But I have a mini update for you. My Veterans have finished their simple Green bath, they were in there so long the paint was a powder, and so the models have some white residue left behind. Anyway, I'm gonna spray them up soon and get to work on their bodies. then add the weapons. As well I have an Infantry Squad Sergeant who is mostly completed. I should have pics soon, his Sword is on Fire! and He may look a little like everyone's , now deceased, favorite blue collar friend. Thank you to anyone who supports me, I love comments more than life itself... maybe not that far But I still love them, good or bad. So feel free to tell your mind!

The yellow and blackish colors are like hazard tape. Stay away, dangerous! Just kidding. They look really good! Are you using the cross as an objective marker?

Here is my tabletop quality Sergeant that you know and love! With his giant sword and arm of a Space Marine!!! Here is... Billy Mays! Billy Mays here for Big Ass Sword on Fire! Tired of that Chainsword always getting clogged? That Bayonet not slicing like it used too? Not anymore. With Big Ass Sword on Fire! You can kill it all! Heretics! Witches! Even those pesky Xenos. Just a squeeze and you can kill your enemies with ease! I love Billy Mays so I'm not hating or making fun. I didn't mean to make him look like Billy. I just gave him the beard, and it ended up that way. I got a forward shot, but my new (old but recently discovered) Video Camera decided it didn't like them. Old Tech never works the way you want it to. Anyway there you go, I figure All I really "Need" to do is paint his base. I might come back and give him some closer attention, but this is good enough for me and my tabletop. C&C... or I'll haunt you in the Night! R.I.P Billy Mays!
