Welcome to the IGMB streetracerstyling! *Takes a tissue sample of the new conscript so that clones may be produced as required* You may or may not thank me later... Now here's your flashlight and piece of cardboard. Go and single-handedly take down that mega-armored Warboss and his Meganobz retinue! Anyway, it's good to see another Catachan collector here on the site. I'm looking forward to seeing your troopers as you start getting them repainted!

Will be posting pics up slowly but surely, along side building a display table for them (I'm not a gamer). It may take some time to do though as the majority of them are plastic and I have been inspired by you to do some heavy conversion work on them. I'll be converting a lord solar macharius, along with some other special characters ( a commisar and a cadet commisar) and Tanith troopers hoping for a platoon or more.

The sentinel pilot with a frag looks like he's oin a suicide mission. :S Possibly while screaming "Emperorhu akhbar!" as he's advancing and pulling the pin?

I love the bladed feet, it makes that one look so much more imposing than any other Sentinel I've ever seen.

Thank you, FFE! Yeah, the foot blades on Kurtz's ride are one of my favorite conversions ever. Kurtz is, of course, inspired by the character from Apocalypse Now/Heart of Darkness, and I wanted to portray that he is a bad, bad man who is off the reservation--hence all of the severed heads and skulls that decorate his Sentinel. The foot blades were added for extra evilness... I'll have to try to get a better picture of Kurtz himself, as I tried to convert him up to look similar to Marlon Brando from the movie.

You know, I've never seen that whole movie. I've seen up until they steal the surfboards but never past there... It's a travesty, I know.

Ah, you must see not only the rest of the movie, but the director's cut version, which is something like an hour longer than the theatrical release version. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Smells like... Victory."

I think it's on Netflix, I'll have to go check it out, just as soon as Rift gives me my life back.

I think it's on Netflix, I'll have to go check it out, just as soon as Rift gives me my life back. *Monty Burns' voice, drums fingers together* "Exxxxxxxxxxxxxxcellent." It is a most trippy movie. Things get pretty weird after they steal the surf boards and continue further up the river...

Wait, I take it back, I did make it to the camp with all the nudity... Heh, one of the best parts of the movie... But yeah, it gets major league grim-dark after that.

Ratlings often serve as cooks. I think cooking, ammo distribution etc is done by the regiment once supplies have been issued from the Munitorum, and guardsmen are often assigned Munitorum tasks as well. I've got an old Ratling cook model. >D

Didn't they make of set of mechanics and fuel loaders for a while too? Our store had them in the display case.

i've just converted 2 of my catachan figures, one is carrying a roll of toilet paper on his way to the latrine the other is throwing a football (blood bowl hand). on top of that my wife came up with an amazing way to make female guards without using green stuff - female catachan on the way, just waiting for heads.

Needs more cowbell.
I mean terrain, more terrain. And is it me or did you use old fashioned inks? Your minis look like they were treated to an old inkwash.

Thanks, cheminhaler! I hope that I can get my Valkyries, Vulture, and Thunderbolt to look as good. Well first I've got to build my remaining Valks, and the Vulture is in transit from FW to my house, but you get the idea...

@ FFE. There was a blister with a bloke carrying the barrel of a stubber and another guy with two fuel tanks if that's what you mean. I think they still sell it.
@ streetracerstyling. Would love to see some pics!
