Holy crap, the Dakka Jet kit is a ton of fun to build... I may have to get more of them. I've also thrown together some Kommandos from leftover bitz:

sweet komando's!
I also love the dakka jet kit.. I am getting the modeller's (tw)itch to buy more ..
(I firmly believe all the ork aircraft should have the strength of the weapons increased by +1)

I did almost snag another Dakka Jet kit while I was at my FLGS earlier today, but the 7th edition rules won out. I do need to go back in on my current kit and fill in the joins where the wings attach to the wing root extension--as I didn't want the wings angled up, and attached them in a way so they'd be level, which created a gap. Wing gap... Mmmm...

Well built, looking forward to seeing them painted!

Thanks, judcottrell! May try to do some priming this upcoming week, and then spray the Dakka Jet down with Mephy Red spray, since "red wunz go fasta."

WIP Flashgitz mob. Gun arms aren't glued on yet as I'll be painting them separately. I need to finish cleaning up Kaptin Badrukk and get him stuck onto a base.

The new flash gitz are looking great so far.
Can you confirm if Bad Luck's gun is still a 'Gets Hot' weapon? (Haven't got the new 'dex)

I do believe that "Da Rippa" does, indeed, get hot.

OK, thanks; nothing has changed it seems. It always sound too risky to use him.

Well, his armor is essentially a power armor save and he's got an invulnerable save too... Plus: ORKZ, ORKZ, ORKZ... Having their gunz blow up in their faces is part of the fun.

OK, thanks; nothing has changed it seems. It always sound too risky to use him. He also has a slugga. Edit: wait, wait, wait... my Ecodex lists him as having 2 wounds? Well scuff that for a game of coconuts. What sort of Ork H.Q has two wounds :/

Technically Badrukk's a Nob, like all the other Flashgitz, and they're all 2 wounds right? He hasn't killed enuf to grow Warboss-size yet I suppose.

Bad Luck has probably killed half the galaxy but he also died a million times from plasma overheat, so they might have to respawn him every time with his unique fungal spore.

Treacherous double post to get some on topic information.
Trooper, I'm looking at my Gitz (which I'm building and probably spraying later) and thinking that it will be a million times easier if I glue the arms on after I finish most of the painting. What are your thoughts? It looks like you've stuck the arms on does it look like it'll impact on painting the body and the back of the gun?

Actually, for my photos I just carefully positioned the guns and arms holding them by the pistol grip so it looked like they are attached to get a good idea of what the final poses would look like. In actuality I'm leaving them separate to paint as sub-assemblies which I'll then carefully glue on once everything else on the Gitz' bodies is painted. I did glue on the left arms, with their cycle handle style grips, though, just to make sure everything would align "gud an' proppa" when the assembly is completed.

WIP of Grukk Face-rippa and attack squig: I haven't stuck his bosspole on because I'm going to paint it separately. Likewise, the attack squig is just dry fit. And in a completely happy injection molding accident, it would appear that the attack squig has a bunghole. I noticed this after I put the body halves together...

Awesome. You've got to apply a little Nurgle's rot around the area when you paint it.
I'm thinking of kitbashing my Grukk with the Dark Vengeance Hellbrute.

Awesome. You've got to apply a little Nurgle's rot around the area when you paint it. And maybe have a skeleton arm or skull emerging out of it?
