Fornicateer sounds wonderfully old-timey. Doesn't it though? Like I should be twisting a mustache or something. Rook=131

I am now going to use that like it's some sort of turn-of-the-century profession.
Edit: We've already turned another century...

Yes master, scorpions die, sit ups are done, good good. Truth be told I find myself giving myself lots of excuses to not exercise, damn my lazy programming. But I will keep going, this forum makes me feel better.

Truth be told I find myself giving myself lots of excuses to not exercise, damn my lazy programming. "He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else"-Benjamin Franklin. Now that you have read that I want you to visualize how out of shape Franklin was. OK, now realize that by weight training you will actually be out performing the man who made the damn quote! That is what helps keep me going. Rook=134

Bought a weight bench finally! The book I'm reading to help me get into screenplay writing actually urged me to buy something to remind me of the main character and that's why I have a damn weight bench. Funny but true.
I'm going to be updating my training regimen on the front page. Stay tuned.

That beep test thing is a complete mystery to me. I'm sure it's more than a patience test...
Anyway, that swimming thing may or may not be a challenge for me -- I have no idea how fast I swim. A hundred meters is a long way. It's around 110 yards, so my guess is I could do that in four or five minutes.
The rest of it is painfully easy, though.
I hope that the difference between their and they're isn't part of that test.

Dont know if its been mentioned but what you said about language is true, workout and girl pressups etc. When my wife did hypnobirthing with our youngest they taught us not to use words like labour and pain we used birthing and surge instead. Its the same principle really.

The mind is an awesome tool if used properly. Why bring negativity into your mindset? It certainly won't help.

A scorpions only fancy dress party?
Edit. Made it back from my run, despite having only had a couple of hours sleep yesterday.

It fell in during the night sometime. Some critters can come back from a drowning so I stomped on it to be sure it was dead.

Off for a late night run in a minute. My back hurts so much these days. Any recommendations? Apart from rest, which I won't be getting enough of.

Off for a late night run in a minute. My back hurts so much these days. Any recommendations? Apart from rest, which I won't be getting enough of. Lower back pain? Lay face down on the floor in the classic Superman pose. Then while keeping your arms and legs straight lift your left arm and right leg at the same time and hold for about 30 seconds. Then alternate the other leg and arm. You want to raise you appendages about 8-12" off the floor when doing this. This is every effective at strengthening your back.
