update time firstly my wip's... improved look leman russ vanquisher with coaxel stubber.    next up... remember my biker dude from ages ago? well his friends are made now!    next... the first of three raper laser platforms.   lastly for Wip's... this is something i havent really named yet... its a multi purpose transport platform that can act as 3 different vehicles depending on the magnetised loadout... the vehicle is roughly 300mm long and 73 mm wide... this is still heavily wip... drone control/ communications vehicle.  a mega trojan  the chassis for a tactical nuke deathstrike launcher.  this is still missing the actual missle and launch control platform... im still yet to find one big enough for the job. |

now for the finished pictures... first up... my voss patterned lightning.    NOT HAPPY WITH THESE PICS... I WILL BE RE-DOING THEMnext up... an odd one... the start of my unusual psyker battle squad...ALIEN GREYS!  to be honest... my photos cannot do these models justice... they are ever so slightly mettallic and shimmer when veiwed... the flash seems to have killed the effect... beware though... they enjoy a good anal probe now and again (who doesn't -lol) lastly for finished stuff is my ragnarok seige MBT... made from an tamiya 1/35 scale M41 ... its a good chunky size for a heavy tank (not superheavy though)     i literally couldnt be happier with the painting on this tank... its the best ive done so far... most of my older tanks will now be getting additional paintwork of worn look thats on this beast. well thats it guys and gals... any questions just ask away... feel free to critisize or get on your knees and worship me... dont care, just comment and il answer any questions. |

Solid work in the new update, my favorite is the decals and 'knife' in Chinese calligraphy on the pilot's head, it really make them finished comparing to your previous vehicles that lack the decal.
I also like the grenade launcher on the bikes, may I suggest you green stuff a strap for the guns the riders are holding, its quite hard controlling a bike with 1 hand, that way they can drop the gun for a momentary control of the bikes and not lose their gun.

Man, that lightning is cool. It looks miles better here than on the FW site.... I like how cool the guard bikers are too, especially the one whose just pulled off an epic stoppie. Like he does that all day long. Whilst fragging cultists. |

im working on the ac130 as we speak... im about 45% done on the build so far.... and just finished another member of my necromunda gang. im off to salute on saturday and hopefully gonna be picking up a bunch of stuff for detailing on it... but im free tommorrow night so il put a few wip pics up of it... as well as the engine osl as requested by trooper... @ scotti88 - the rifles held by the bikers are SCAR's made by chapterhouse ... they are amazingly good quality. @ macknight - wow... im so glad you noticed the pilots helmet... although i thought it meant 'blade' , not 'knife' ... pretty similar regardless lol... and thats a good idea about the slings for the rifles... i did sling the very first prototype bikers rifle behind his back... but for these more dynamic poses, i think a nice 1 point sling would be ideal. glad i didnt put them into paint already.... thanks.. @ 3ff3ct - when the weathers nice im gonna re-take the pics of the lightning as im really not happy with how blurry and crappy the pics turned out... but thats real nice of you to say that it looks better than the forgeworld one... i have seen the forgeworld one in person and i thought it looked pretty bad considering its a show peice... as a whole - im really not impressed with forgeworld painted presentations on their website...so many other websites show truely incredible painted exaples using modern painting methods (osl, nmm, airbrushing) not to mention other things that irk me about their site... like how they dont give good descriptions of what you actually get in a blister, and how they lack other simple things like model sizes, where to find the rules etc... egon - sure il chuck up a pic of the russ comparisons aswell ... |

yay... seems to have worked now... well firstly heres a size comparison shot of my tanks pictured are leman russ (standard size) leman russ EDF pattern (extended) EDF seige MBT - ragnarok.  next up is a very small tutorial on how i paint my engines afterburners as requested by trooper. colours i use are - in GW range- Ceramite white (base) flash gitz yellow (layer) troll slayer orange (layer)  1- paint the whole of the inside of the afterburner using ceramite white, be careful not to get paint on the outside of the engine... 2/3 good coats should have it perfectly white inside. 2-apply the yellow to the areas shown, its not important to be tidy at this point, also blending is not particularly nessasary. 3-make a 25% orange / 75% yellow mix and start applying to the area shown. 4-make a 50/50 mix of orange and yellow and apply further outwards. 5-fill the rest of the area with troll slayer orange and your done. ok lastly im just gonna dump all the pics of my wip ac130 here with minimal descriptions and if you want to find out more, feel free to ask me questions.             Earthshaker autoloading cannon  Earthshaker autoloading cannon  Earthshaker autoloading cannon  canopy detal... still needs more windows (total pain in the f'ing ass)  its so far missing many interior details, a quad autocannon array , 5 gunners/loaders , underwing detailing, below fuselage detailing, magnetising of weapons (possible different configurations?), windows of canopy... and a whole bunch more things. its amost taking the urine to say that this is a superheavy flyer... because it really does weigh an absolute ton... and considering i have alot more detailing to go on it as well... |

You had an idea like me and took it at least 10 steps closer to pure awesome than I even thought of doing. All I was thinking was a heavy Valkyrie kind of like a super stallion carries 30 or 36 models and you make this beast. To think I was worried about people crying about many auto-cannons and maybe pair of pivoting punisher cannons.
Wow just wow.

I have a friend whose dad served on the AC-130 "Azrael" for a while in Nam before winding up as an EWO on a B-52 that was shot down during Linebacker II. I linked him to this page, and he was most impressed with what've you've made so far Ashot. I'll keep him posted on your progress and tell him to keep coming back.  |
