Holy nuts...I've spent today popping in and out of internet signal trying to read the whole thread and all I can say you're an inspiration bud, your work is amazing and you've got fantastic skill in both modelling and painting. Please keep it up

Somehow I've completely overlooked them on their site - I actually thought 1/35 weapons where too flimsy in 28mm scale - But this one seems to work!

im just finishing the bikers and il try to get pics up by sunday...
let me tell you guys a little bit about my life at the moment..
ITS OVER... lol... not that dramatic, but all that spare time i used to have for modelling and sgaming is now almost non existant...
reason... my long term relationship to my girlfriend Nadja took a new step and shes moved from germany to live with me... so now my time is mostly spent doing 1/1 scale modeling (mostly ikea model kits) and generally making my appartment liveable for two peoples... i really dont have alot of time to myself at the moment, but i will put up pics of my ...

And reclaim your reich!! ...Seriously though, did you guys buy ALL of IKEA?! hehe... ive been seriousley lazy on the army front recently picture wise... ive been as busy as i can painting, mostly for the newest GG comp... and im going all out for that comp, im after another win for sure...im going in BIG. so... i guess its been far too ferking long sinse i updated my plog with actual pictures, not just false promises and excuses for inactivity... so il start with.. EDF autocannon heavy weapon team.  next up... EDF Ageis line and skyshield   i finished these ages ago... and are a stable of my lists, without the skyshield i doubt i could win as many games as i do... and the ageis is a guard must. next up.. an unusual concept for a unit i thought wouldnt suit the look and the feel of the EDF.. This is my techpriest enginseer with 4 servitors... bundled together into one unit model. EDF Repair mech.       you might be thinking..WTF!!! thats not a... but yes it is... it counts as the techseer, 2 servitors with servo arms and 2 servitors with multimeltas basically its got 5 wounds, for every wound removed it loses a weapon with the 4+ save... the last wound is the 3+ save i imagine is the mech core. so with one unit its got .. laspistol, 3 servo arms , 2 multimeltas .. 4, 4+ saves and 1 3+ save... make sense... hope so. and lastly... a counts as Valdor tank hunter based on a 1/35 scale PkZf 4 ww2 german light tank....     and yeah... just noticed i forgot to paint the backpack hanging off the right side... il make sure il get that sorted. i have more pics ready but il find some time later in the week to chuck them up.. comments welcome! |

Wow!, so worth the wait - I think I'm going to keep that TechSeer Mech in mind, when the new Codex hits the streets - very cool concept!
What kit is used for the arms??
I'm slowly developing a Near-Future concept for my own IG army - and your models are a direct source of inspiration. I'm currently scratchbuilding a modernized version of the LRBT.
Looking forward to seeing your "ARES Class Titan" - I'm currently thinking of converting a Valken Assault Suit into an Imperial Knight.
Keep posting pictures mate - we love it!!

Keep posting pictures mate - we love it!! i think it was some old mech minis that were the arms... the local shop had a bucket full of these old prepainted mech figures... in fact id like to know what range they were from as id like more of the arms. thats really cool that my stuff is inspiring you to make a similar concept army... id really like to see what you come up with regarding the russ... none of the design of a russ even nearly transpires to what a modern MBT looks like, especially the profile ... russes are far too tall... i have made a more modern looking russ by making the hull longer and turret longer... but even then im not happy with its looks considering the look im after... difficult that one is. il put up pics soon enough of my wip's i got alot of them... including some marintime units and ships i intend on using at an appocylpse event i plan on doing one day. |

The OSL on the Valdor's cannon is the best I've ever seen. i wish... as of last year im actually allergic to alcohol now so it best if you choose something that aint gonna mess me up... thanks about the OSL... im super happy with howe its turned out... i was so excited to show the osl off i forgot to actually finish painting the model, i havent painted the bag, the highlighting on the rust and the powder weathering... i need to go back and sort it. |

Come on now - we are all allergic to alcohol! - If it was Bacon, I would shoot myself!! The dimension on all IG vehicles are awefull - but those are the guidelines to work within - my modern version of the LRBT springs from a Chibi-Abrams-Tiger concept - I'll try to post pictures this weekend - still need to build the turret, but main body and tracks are coming alongs nicely - I can recommend using LEGO and plasticard for basic frame and detailing. Once I've done the basic structures and detailing I will cast the main parts and add bits and details. My main focus ATM is infantry building and the LRBT as I see them being a big part of the new IG/AM regardless of the new armylist - Armour and Infantry - something never change!! I've allready started a shopping list of Zinge.co.uk bits for my version of your TechSeerBot! |
