So, new to IGMB and all, I got a tip that I should show some of my done guys and tanks! First up, some infantry: I've painted the two on the right. Same thing with these guys My heavy weapons, and their special uniform Scratch-built CCS And, for last, the ordinary infantry uniform Then, vehicles: I got another 4 chimeras, a basilisk, 4 LR of different kinds, but some of them is poorly painted for the moment or in the process of repainting, so I will spare your eyes and not force you to see them. Enjoy!

Thanks! I'm suffering of the to usual IG-players problem: A lot of plastic to paint... And it doesn't get any better that I only can paint during the weekends.
I'll probably get some pics of the finished grunts I have, realized that I doesn't have a single pic of those!

Quite nice, I would suggest a uniformity on the bases to bring the army together. Mt favorites are the stormtrooper and the sentinel.

macknight: I'm actually in the phase of doing that! Takes some time though and the focus is to get everything painted up at first. And well, here's the closeups! I know, the heavy bolter is off, but that's how it is when you buy second hand, and the rough surface is liquid green stuff. Decent result I think . Altough, I didn't spend a moment thinking about the time the repainting would take...

So, I've got done to business with my griffon! I decided that it would be in armageddon mode just as the chimera. So far the rough surface looks good, the chipping (which I tried for the first time) looks good as well.
Now I'm thinking of more improvements on it (more than the vox I put there that is). Thinking about a bunch of ordinary mortar-shells, as it is close to my ordinary mortars in most game I've played with it so far.
Any thoughts? Pics of how he's looking right now will be posted tomorrow!

No need to wait for pics. The big boss decided that she was tired after work, so I had the chance to take some pics. The outside. Do mind that the flash brings out the shine in the metal. It's washed with badab black, so it doesn't shine as much. The inside. Don't mind the green, the platform with the mortar will cover that. Soooo, still some work to do. The tracks, the fuel tank for the flamer, the crew compartment is just a few of the things, bot overall I'm pleased so far. C&C is most welcome!

Well, as said before I had a punisher in the shelf, and didn't want to use it because it was frankly to bad (many shots, but BS3... You know...). So, what to do? Well, I figured I could have use of an Exterminator instead. So, a saw and 4 AC-barrels later this is the result: I also managed to get some paint on the tank (after about 6 months...) and chipping. Second time I did it, and I'm pleased with the result! Note: The read is anti-corrosion colour, not rust. The rust will be added at a later stage!

Those are some really nice vehicles. I also like the storm trooper sergeant. The ork head on the chimera looks really weird though. It doesn't look 'dead' and it's just glued on so it looks like some sort of weird war accident. I would get rid of it.

The ork head was glued by the previous owner, and I haven't really noticed it before, but I see what you mean! I will get on it as soon as I have the possibility!

Thought of the ork-head: I have a bunch of knifes, cadian, SM and SM scouts alike. My idea is to get one knife in each eye (thank you GW for those tiny pig-eyes on orks!) and a larger big one through the head or in the forehead to show WHY the head is hanging there. Good or crappy idea? That's the idea that Kriegeirks rusty old spike gave me On another note, orks DO look a little like pigs in the face... Maybe I should paint one of the ones I have laying around as a pig... Hmm... *thinking outside the box in a heretical way*

Well, personally I wouldn't want to sit in a vehicle that can have its armour defeated by someone stabbing it... I'd remove it, since there's no way of it being able to stick to that part of the chimera. Put it on the base of one of your soldiers/veterans perhaps? Oh, and if you do decide to keep it, do something about those pearly whites. I doubt orks have that good dental hygiene. B)

Yeah, haven't got to that... I figured that with the paintjob mostly done nobody would notice that But yeah, removing it would probably be best, even with the eyes stabbed and the mouth dirty the face around the mouth looks to alive. Not even rigor mortis would make the grin stik that hard

So, back from the base after a short 2 days, and had the time to finish up somethings and change others. The changes: Simplicity on my ordinary infantry. To save time I have about 10 minutes on the big things (gun, fatigues and flak) and about the same on the details. This includes a wash on the big things, but no highlighting at all. Things I can improve at a later stage. The other change: The ork-head on the chimera is now removed! Need only to fix the area. The glorious workstation! As you see, with a cup of coffee and tobacco (snus as we call it) I can go on for hours. Decided that I wanted a model of Harker. But since most of my force is cadians, I did him in that style. Figured that in forces such as that the biggest and badest guy doesn't NEED to be the biggest. He is the most kitted. My own harker unpainted. Some LGS on the armour to roughen things up a bit. And, the painted result! The need-to-do is the base foremost, and then some highlighting. And the work is slowly moving forward now that both the tanks and infantry is being painted in a quicker way!

That looks AWESOME! I scratch built harker's heavy bolter myself, though.

Thanks! Do you have any pics of him your Harker? Want to see that HB you built Also, thinking about making a Marbo in about the same style, and for demo-chargers I was thinking about a pack of mortar-shells, fixed together in a bunch. I'm gonna admit it, that idea is shamelessly stolen from Saving Private Ryan. The rest of him gonna be a surprise, although I'm more than happy to get some ideas or advise from fellow converters/painters!

Thanks! I'm working on a marbo for the moment, and it's the most green stuff I've ever used on a single mini. For the moment the gs is hardening, but I hope I can start the painting tonight!
