Thanks for the additional feedback guys, we've made some modifications to the tires to bring it more in line with the real world inspriation (a Triumph). Penny for your thoughts again! The mirrors may or may not make the final cut, depending on if we can do them justice in casting, to make them viable this may become a combination resin/metal kit with the handbars in metal the rest in resin. Also the saddle is being adjusted to be a little narrower. The stowage is'nt shown in this picture, but it is still included, just they will be seperate components for flexibility.

As a motorcycle rider, I have to say that bike looks sweet, I would love to see your version of a Harley. Are you going to make a "stock" cadian guard rider??? Either way I am very interested.
I also enjoy the other bodies and heads you been doing, any chance of doing a Civil War Confederate body and head?

Personally, I think it could do with rivets on the mud guards to tie it in with our favourite plastic dudesmen. Although obviously you can tell me to shog off and add some myself It's awesome by the way

After a bit of a long silence, largely due to all sorts of other things which have kept me away from the hobby and Curious Constructs for a little bit things are moving again. I'd just like to say thankyou for all the feedback on the bike. There will be some more minor changes to the design, but the initial release will be very similar now to what was shown in the last picture. Definately there is the possibility of other variants of the bike further down the line though - being small means my budget is tight though, so I would'nt like to make any promisses at this stage. In the meantime I'd like to just drop in a quick preview of something else which is currently being put together for release through Curious Constructs, the Hoplite Tankette. This complete vehicle kit is being put together by AJ, aka Parak a friend and fellow blogger I've known for several years, intially through 40k Online, and as such you may have come across the design before. Here is the current state of the vehicle - as I say its very much still a work in progress, but you can get a good idea of scale and what it is we're aiming towards. If your not familiar with Parak's work, here is his converion which this new kit is based on. There are also plans for more vehicles - both variants of this design, and a few larger examples.

The bike is now back from the printers - next step is a rider so watch this space. In the meantime, another quick preview which it'd be great to get some feedback on, the laser-lock rifle.

Again, I am so sorry with how long the singing has taken, Gravis Are you going Caroling together or something? I think we missed this somewhere along the way. Perhaps a youtube video in the underhive would be cool? ;D LOVE the las-locks, it'd be a great alternative for anyone doing a feral/feudal world style army. Really like the 'tankette' too, it'd make a great stand-in for heavy weapons teams or similar!

I must admit I keep getting excited whenever there is a new post in this thread as I think the bikes may be finished.
They look great and I will definately be putting in an order when they are available.
Until then, I will be keenly anticipating any new posts.

Sorry to tease - still no update on the bikes yet, though the rider is just about done I'm about to head off for a week in Scotland so it'll be a little longer!
However, following on from my previous post, the new web store is now finally up and running!
To celebrate that, the new year, and the festive season in general, the following coupon code, entered in your Shopping Cart before checkout will give you a 10% discount in store. The coupon is valid from now until the 12th of January, and you can use it as many times as you like!
The Coupon code is NEWSTORE
I've also done a little price adjusting and put some Cavalry Squad deals in place, though these are strictly limited in number, I think they represent excellent vaue though! I've also introduced a Reward Points scheme for registered customers as an added thank you to repeat customers, and finally, all orders of £30.00 or more now ship for free!

Cheers chaps! Just before I disappear off for New Years, I'm after a bit more feedback, this time on an Energy Pistol, between myself and the CAD artist, Jake, we've got a few ideas along a basic theme - based as an upgrade of the Laser-lock Pistol. I'd be interested to hear peoples thoughts on the designs, specifically which you prefer, or which features of them you prefer if the weapon was instead a combination of the existing concepts. Hope you all have a great new year!

Of the cad designs I like the top one the most. Have you thought about adding magazine housing to the weapon, so it has replaceable energy source like the las pistol for example, or is it supposed to be how it looks, a plasma based weapon.
If I was to change one this it would be the pistol grip. The way it joins to the weapon doesn't look right with the way the rear of the gun being so curved. Maybe dropping back the box on the side, and adding a heat displacer on the side might work?
That's my 10p. Hope it's constructive help.
Happy new year!

I'm back from my winter break, and all previous orders are now shipped and the counter reset. There's one week left on the 10% store discount voucher, a reminder that the code is 'NEWSTORE' and should be entered in your shopping basket ahead of check out! Cheers for the feedback soap, these are still very much work in progress concepts - we want to make sure that the final design is bang on. I'm hoping for a pressure cylinder type magazine to replace the current ammo cell. Changes to the grip are possible, the design reflects more of a dueling pistol styled grip, something else I'd like to do, but need not apply here. Just to add to the early CAD concepts, here are two more - any further thoughts on the original ones, or perhaps on these two?
