The campaign may be over, but progress continues with Kit from Zinge Industries Limited busy working on turning concepts into finalised designs. On that note we have the Barrage Balloon Anchor, and the Flame Cannon. We also have a work in progress shot of the Flac Cannon, its changed alot from the original design taking on board all the feedback we've had from backers. I've got to say I'm really loving the way this one is coming together now myself!

I'm loving your creativity here.
I have a question regarding the shielding on the weapon platform, I can see that it has a large vertical slot for weapons such as the machine gun, multiple machine gun, rocket launcher etc, and that for these weapons the barrel of the gun points through the slot...
However, the same shield is used with the flakk cannon and the missile launcher, which I feel doesn't quite look right.
would a larger shield with a viewing slot be more suitable?... the ork artillery pieces have the viewing slot to the side of the gun showing that an operator would stand to the side of the gun and look through at the target while protected. Could this be incorporated.
Could you also look at a flakk gun with longer barrels, about twice as long as they are now?
Could you also tell me how the ammunition is supplied to the flakk guns?..
great stuff!.. please continue!

All the work of Kit Burrows from Zinge Industries it has to be said treadiculous! The Shield is generally not an essential part of the construction, it can be left off to taste, though in the examples you highlight I believe the gap accommodates targeting sensors and the like. The Flac Cannon's ammo is fed through feeds which run through the cogs, as below. [img=https://s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/assets/002/651/976/71e120152c0b257f63731833f07d9103_large.JPG[/img] No plans for extended barrels on this at the moment, we felt it was an easy conversion for anyone who wishes this - always possible it'll be revisited later on though, some discussion was given to supply lengths of plasticard tube for them early on but this was decided against. A little pre-release today, I've a small stock of Joseph Selman's new Desert Infantry torso's on the store, with a 20% pre-release discount. This is a little experiment with heads and torso's combined so to allow the cloth of the head gear to flow properly. Once the remaining pre-release stock is gone these will not be available until late October/early November.
Also in the store, amongst a few restocks, are separate standing legs which have been requested a few times. And the return of the Tank Commander.

Just a little something from myself today, part of the most recent batch of stuff I've had back from the casters is the new 'Dragoon Guard' head, though confusingly I'll be using putting them to use on my Life Guard Storm Troopers for my Games Workshop Praetorian Imperial Guard army. Waiting on a production mould now with this set of heads, and some others - Bearskins, revised Picklehaubes and Adrian's coming alongside the Desert Infantry at the end of this month/early next!

The metal legs will be great for using the torsos and heads. The new bitz are great; I like your stormtrooper headswap.

Those tracked platforms look useful for mechanicus servitor conversions.
