I used your dress uniform torso again for my penal custodian. It's rapidly becoming a favourite of mine. In time, when I run out of the plastic torso for my rough riders dress uniform torsos will be the cheapest option for me. You say you're making metal modular arms? That's great news...

Thanks, Ymmot. We were discussing penal legion ideas ages ago. In the end I went for 2 squads of the Victoria Lamb ones and I'm still keeping the 3rd squad of all metal squats led by a dude with a speaker on his shoulder.
They are great sculpts - can't wait to paint them but unfortunately I have other painting commitments.. I'll paint one along with the other stuff just to see how it turns out.

The Kickstarter is now live for the 28mm Anti-Tank Lasercannon, and the 28mm Heavy Weapons Carriage. We've set ourselves the goal of £600 to get these items into production, as previously mentioned both are highly detailed kits by Kit Burrows of Zinge Industry, which will be cast in high quality resin. Should we surpass our initial funding goal, and reach our stretch goals, we'll start to unlock a number of alternative weapons, the first of which is the Gatling Cannon. Anyone who backs the project with complete Anti-Tank Lasercannons will also receive any of the unlocked weapons. It's all over to you guys now, if you'd like to see this put into production, or more to the point want to add one more of the complete Anti-Tank Lasers, or just the carriages to your collection, please pledge your support, no matter how much. Just as important though, if you know someone who might be interested in the project, please share it with them. Kickstarter Link

After receiving the Iron Horse bike in the post today, I can safely say that this project will be worth the pledge making my donation now. There are many great things to come from Curious Constructs I am certain.

I'm glad you both like the Bikes chaps, and Cosmic thank you for the pledge! I thin I can say with a degree of certainty that you can expect some more very tasty releases from us this year, it's been a slow start, but there is lots to come!
In the meantime, I'm completely staggered, we're coming towards the end of day three of our Kickstarter, with 27 still to go, and we've smashed our initial funding goal reaching over 250% funding, thats nearly £1600!
Thats the Gatling Cannon unlocked, the Autocannon unlocked and the Artillery Crew unlocked, and we're only a little over £100 short of the last of our initial stretch goals for the Tesla Cannon and Rocket Launcher! The pace with which the funding has come in has absolutely amazed me, and left us chasing our own stretch goals to catch up.
We'll be posting updates on all our stretch goals as soon as possible now, and hope to add some new ones shortly!
On that note, we're very much open to suggestions on further alternative Heavy Weapons options - what would you like to see?

Thanks killahtz, we're pausing on further stretch goals as of now until we are ready to deliver on all existing promisses on schedule. However, once we've caught up with that the plan is for a Gatling Mortar, as our take on a multi-barrel support weapon.

They are looking very nice indeed. I will come back closer to the date, when I know how.much money I have left after Salute!
Don't get so caught up in stretch goals that you eat up all your profitability in free goodies. From other KS I have watched and backed, you can have an 'unlock' goal which just means there's something else for backers to add money to their pledge for.

wulfric, I'm glad to hear another like for them! Also if your off to Salute make sure you look out for Kit from Zinge Industries on stand TM06, as has been mentioned he's the designer - and we're very much hoping that he's going to be able to show off the printed masters!
Anyway, yes, we are cutting back on the stretch goals a little, but one of the existing ones which has been broken (the crew) is for something else which you'll be able to pledge for and add, with plans in the works for additional crew and accessories to go with the kits on a similar basis.

Just another quick update, we're starting to preview the stretch goals as we fight to catch up with the overwhelming response, having unexpectedly hit over 400% funding in just four days. I've now posted up the concept sketch of our Gatling Cannon, and an early work in progress render of the Autocannon. Try the text links instead if the pictures don't load, they are there! i186.photobucket.com/albums/x160/gravisblog/Forum%20Pictures/36379575308dc4566a73cbf46155f31d_large_zps5f008f8f.pngi186.photobucket.com/albums/x160/gravisblog/Forum%20Pictures/bd77ce2b37098ee24dd95ae13bd634a9_large_zps4b59c5a4.pngThe concept for the Autocannon is a double barrelled cannon which is crossed with a piston. As the wheel turns the barrels move in and out loading and ejecting shells as they go, this essentially just shows that mechanism. We'd welcome feedback on this design as its still in the early stages. As a result of the unexpected demand, we've capped our earlier pledges which have now nearly been entirely filled, and opened up some new ones which are also filling rapidly. We've also made the difficult decision to not add further stretch goals until we're ready to deliver on our existing promisses. We'd rather deliver everything on schedule then keeping adding more! That said though, I'm confident we'll catch up ahead of the campaigns conclusion and we have plans to add what we're calling the 'Gatling Mortar', additional crew, accessories, and hopefully more! Once again, thankyou to everyone who has supported us so far!
