To be honest, I don't feel that is particularily tanky. It feels like a thinner version of a regular front line helmet.

It seems more pilot to me.

I bought a couple of sets of heads from you, a couple of weeks ago and I think they are awesome! I really want you to make those motor bikes so bad! Being a biker myself I would love to add them as apart of my vostroyans. I'll be ordering from you again Major Downer

The idea on the second design was to follow the look of a CVC... However, I'm inclined to agree that it looks more like a pilot helmet than tanker gear. If anyone has some ideas about a new direction, I'm open to them. I may just go with the old-school Russian look for now and come back to the modern one at a later date. -Steve

Thanks Syphon, that is indeed where I started. What I came away with are 3 main themes... U.S. WW2 style Russian style Modern CVC style I'm up for all 3, I guess. My focus will stay on the Russian style, but if people have a desire for the others, I'll work them in. Still also open to other concepts. -Steve

I agree with the Russian style. It reminds me of the Sentinel pilot heads.

AshotNINJA : Those modern ones will still be done OK, so here's an update on the Russian-style tanker head. Still need the mic and some goggles. -Steve

What are the giant things on the side? Built in earmuffs? Man, you need to get your stuff printed so I can buy it. I WANTS IT!

@ syphon... in real life (and here i imagine) the ear defenders act as protection from noise and also have built in mic and earpeice so the crew can communicate with each other... tanks are super noisey and its difficult for the crew to chat otherwise.... same sort of thing for chopper pilots too.

Things will look exaggerated in these renders; they will translate much better when they are printed/cast. -Steve

I'm starting to plan out a set of female heads and I'm open to some input. My biggest question right now would be, do we want these with helmets, berets, etc.?

Are both possible? I think you could make them more feminine with berets, you can show ponytails, or shoulder length hair to show they are female. But the helmets would make them fit more with the Cadian look.

Yeah both can be done, I guess I'll start with helmets then.

Try doing female Jungle Fighter heads, too

That might be a way to do the heads also. Helmets for Cadians and berets for Catachans.

I'd prefer no hats for catachans.

Just buzzcuts for the women. Or at least short hair, no ponytails. That would just get tangled up in the bushes, shrubberies and other nasties. Ponen, they're not Cadians and Catachans. They are "Fortress Soldiers" and "Rainforest Warriors"

I always thought of them as "Mobile Infantry" and "Rambo".

"Mobile Infantry", "Rambo", "Fortress Soldiers", "Rainforest Warriors"...any of those works for me I think we'll shoot for helmets first. From there we may focus on a later wave of multiple sets of heads, all female. EDIT: **UPDATE** Been talking with my printer, it seems that I'll have a few less heads in the next wave than I originally planned for. The next wave of releases at the end of November will be Bald Heads, Boonie Hats, and Colonial Defense Heads. After that it will be 2 sets of rifles. Things will be adjusted from there as time go by. -Steve

I'm looking forward to these next releases As for the female heads, I'd love to see some generic civilian heads (so with longer hair, pony tails, etc...) along side some buzzcut/bald heads, heads with berets and some helmeted heads would nice. Of course, I realise that this takes quite a bit of work and that we won't be seeing them for a while, but you asked for input, so input I give Cheers, Ludovic
