Take a drop pod as a fast attack in a marine CAD. Drop a Celuxis assassin in conjunction with the skyhammer formation, bye bye Psycher Death Star unit.

I have one more drop pod to build. Then I'll get a photo up of my 2000pt army.
Then I need to base about a dozen space wolves. Then I'll get up a photo of them.
Then I'll go back to painting more IFs.

2000pt army is officially fully built!
Started basing the Space Wolves. Have to get them ready for Genghis Con in Denver this coming weekend!
I'll get some pictures of the Wolves and some tournament photos. Then painting IF in earnest. Can't wait!

Taking drop pod assault to a whole new level goddamn! Have you played any games with that many drop pods yet? I've got 5, but normally anything besides drop pods that goes in it dies pretty quickly D:

Progress! Also I ran 5 drop pods in a list today and landed them behind an IG gunline, combat squads works well when you've got a 10 man squad in a drop pod with a melta gun and combi flamer or choice of infantry killer sgt.

Having just suffered through a lamenters army, i must say, I'm jealous of the solid yellow you have. The scheme I used allowed a good yellow but you can never use it to achieve a great yellow that you are definitely on the way to. Looking forward to seeing the end result man!
